I’m married to a man who likes all of his shirts pressed. We used to have them done at the dry cleaner when we were still working. I iron them all now, because he’s so worth it! I was getting tired of the unstable ironing board that I had been using. I had this one in my cart but it was a bit too expensive. During a flash sale, I bit the bullet. I really am so glad I did. This ironing board is stable, has adjustable height, is attractive, and has nice padding. I do 6 -10 at a time using a lot of steam and water has never dripped through the board. I like the wider width. It also folds and stores in the space next to my dryer. I like the rack at the end for hangers. I’m not sure I understand how the the wheels help ( the way they are turned). My only suggestion for improvement, it that the cover cloth should be more smooth so that the fabrics being ironed could be adjusted and could slide over the cover easier. This ironing board is pricey, but it seems very stable, sturdy and safe. I like the width and it comes with a heavy, attractive cover, and the padding is thick, and doesn't slip off the board. My previous ironing board was supposed to be of similar quality, but after a short time, it did not lock in place, often slamming to the floor, sometimes along with the hot iron and whatever I was ironing. It was dangerous, really, but I held on to it because I hated wasting the money and I thought it would miraculously self correct. I hope my troubles are over. ... show more

I expected less of an adjustment and was extremely surprised to see how high this board extends. The pad is a bit wrinkly at first but a good pass over with the steam iron makes things flat. I observed how much steam passed through the board and it is not much, it can be better at the pad. Overall I am pleased with the quality, made in Portugal!!! ... show more

Best ironing board I've ever owned! Very stable, and only one lever to fold easily for storage. Though a little heavier than most, it is still ok for a 78-yr.-old lightweight woman to move! Favorite feature is the awesome stability. When ironing on the small end of my old board, the opposite end always tipped up, sometimes causing my iron to fall and break while I was trying to shift the garment around! I had been lugging around my old faithful ironing board for nearly 40 years over which time I increased the padding and made the standard ironing board so wonderful to use. I recently moved where the house I now have has a built in ironing board in the utility room, so I donated my old faithful ironing board. When I started using the built in board I immediately noted the limitations of where the ironing board was placed in the utility room and then when sewing large projects like drapes I knew I couldn’t use the built in board so bought this lovely ironing board. It truly is a joy to iron on this board. It is more plush then standard padding usually is and I can adjust the height so it really fits my 5ft height. Very stable when set up and ironing large amounts of fabric.
