This steamer is a convenient size for traveling and removes creases and wrinkles pretty well, but it does take some time. Depending on the size of the garment you’re steaming and how bad the wrinkles are, you may have to refill the water reservoir once or twice to complete the job but if you give it enough time, it works well enough that any remaining wrinkles are so small they aren’t noticeable once the garment is on. I travel quite a bit for work and play and I had grown increasingly frustrated with hotel irons. My main issue was they ALWAY leak water when using the steam function. I bought this steamer for an up coming trip where I have a dress that is all white and has tricky wrinkles (I couldn't risk an iron). I just got the steamer today and tested it on the dress I am taking, and I was shocked. This thing is exactly as described. Powerful steam, easy to use, compact, comes with it's own carrying pouch and can fit anywhere. I only steamed vertically but held held the steamer horizontal and no LEAKS!! I am sure it will be just fine on an ironing board. I know my friends are going to want one once they see me with mine! Word of mouth is everything for an online product, so I felt compelled to leave a review. **I literally NEVER write reviews** Not sure of it's longevity but for the price, I figure if it breaks or gives out, I would have already gotten my money's worth. I needed to steam a dress for a wedding. The dress came in a package really wrinkled. I couldn’t get the wrinkles out with anything I tried so I bought this steamer! I will admit I was skeptical at first to get close to the clothing & was ready for it to spit steam out & ruin the item. Never happened! This steamer worked like magic and took every wrinkle out. This should be listed in bold large font on the advertisement. This steamer is great, my wife uses it all the time and within a couple minutes her clothing is wrinkle free. She could not wait to get it into a suitcase for our next trip since some lodging in Europe does not offer an iron and board. We bought a converter and figured it would work great. Well, it did for a couple times, but then it burned out. When the ad says don't use it with a converter, they mean it. No warranty if you burn it out for that. We naturally have a second one because we loved it, but don't make the same mistake. No Converter/adapters should be used! ... show more
