AROIC 10x20FT Heavy Duty Tarps, Waterproof 16 Mil Thick Camping Tarp with 15x17 Weave, Large Waterproof Tarp Tear Resistant UV Resistant Multipurpose Protective Cover for Tent Car Roof Boat The tarp comes economically packaged in a plain brown recyclable cardboard box. Inside the box, right on top is a info sheet about the tarp which doesn't give you anything different information than what was in the ad. (UV resistant, reinforced edges, tear resistant, aluminum grommets, you get the idea.) Looking at the tarp itself, the first thing that came to mind to one family member is that it looked like duct tape, and indeed the color of the gray pretty much matches the roll of duct tape that we've got here in the house. The gray top side, black underside tarp has all of the edges folded over with a rope looking insert at the very edge to give it some extra strength. The overlap outer edge seam of the tarp looks like it was glued or heat sealed, with a ridge going around the exterior where the rope is, but no stitches that we can see. The four corners of the tarp do have a little bit of extra support as shown in the photos in the ad. The black piece that you see in the corners is a flexible piece of plastic feeling material, but more like hard plastic than fabric. The corner protectors are not glued on or fastened in any way that I can see, other than being pierced thru and fastened by the grommet itself. ( If the black rubber were fastened solidly to the gray part of the tarp, that would give it a lot of extra support against tearing and strain, but the way this is assembled without any adhesive section, I don't see where that would give any extra support against tearing on the corners.) Other than my comments above about the construction, the tarp does seem fairly tear resistant and should work well. Keep in mind, if you're using this tarp to replace your original one on a 10x20 enclosure, the finished size on this tarp is 9 and 1/2 ft. By 19 and 1/2 ft. We were able to take up the excess space by putting a couple of zip ties together, but this is not a surprise. I've seen this type of dimensional shift and pretty much any tarp I've purchased in the past. (Why don't they just come out and say in big letters that it's 9 and 1/2 ft by 19 and 1/2 ft? Not really a lie, but still a bit misleading.)

This review is for the AROIC brand 10 foot by 12 foot 16 mil tarp. 10’ x 12’ tarp came in a box that is 10” x 12” x 5”. I have a use in mind for the tarp, but not till later in the spring. This is a very odd package choice and size which makes storing it less convenient than my other tarps. I did not deduct anything for the odd packaging but mentioning it in case it matters to someone else. The tarp is thick. It looks quite sturdy, but the manufacturing was rushed or incomplete. The corners for the tarp I received are not finished or representative of the product photos. There are four images of the tarp corners in the product listing. Mine do not match those, so I have to assume it is a defect.
