I travel a lot, and I do headshots for a lot of executives, doctors, lawyers, etc. This handheld steamer is the perfect size to fit in my travel kit to take with me for shoots. It's easy to use, and can steam out wrinkles on a sports coat or blazer in minutes. It comes with a pouch that holds it and keeps it from banging around in your suitcase or bag. My only concern with it is that it does not have an on/off button. When you plug it in, it automatically turns on, and you have to unplug it to turn it off. That's a bit annoying, but it comes with a protective cover that helps. I was worried about melting the plastic on the cover, but it stands up to the heat fine. Just be sure to unplug it when you aren't using it. It heats up very quickly, so that isn't a big problem. Like all things that can burn you, it's important to be safe and cautious when operating it.

I’ve never used a garment steamer before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Fortunately, I was very pleasantly surprised. The water reservoir is very easy to fill (don’t forget to use distilled water!). After filling the reservoir, I plugged it in and it was almost instantly ready to use. I decided to steam an old t-shirt as my first experiment. Although the directions indicate that it’s best to use an ironing board, I decided to just hang the t-shirt on a hanger and place it on a hook. I must say, the steamer worked great. It’s so easy to use and I had that wrinkled t-shirt looking good in less than a minute. Don’t forget to unplug the steamer after use as it has no on/off button. And I would recommend standing it upright so you don’t run the risk of any water leaking out. I’ll be storing the steamer in my closet for quick touch ups. No more need to drag the iron and ironing board out! It will be great for traveling too. And…..it would be a really nice gift, as well.

"Travel" steamer that's only a little lighter than a proper iron. Sturdy plastic construction with a wide, heated 'bar' suitable for flat ironing clothes or releasing wrinkles while hanging. It works, but not well. It will indeed remove the wrinkles from your clothes but will leave a lot of water behind in the process. The wrinkle removal just takes a few minutes, but you'll wait another half hour for the wet spots to dry. The design also lacks even very basic quality of life features. There is no on/off switch and there's a single button that toggles between steam mode and dry iron mode. There's no indicator light to tell you if you're in steam or dry mode, or even an indicator light to tell you when the steamer is hot. Even an inexpensive motel will loan you an iron and ironing board. This thing will just take space in your luggage and drip water on your clothes.

I find this travel steamer to be the perfect size for steaming an individual garment. The water level window easily displays the remaining water in the reservoir, the cord is adequately long to allow steaming on an ironing board as well as a hanging rack. The steam itself is heavy enough to lightly saturate the fabric for wrinkle release. I had no experience of dripping and did empty the reservoir and leave the cap off for several hours to allow complete drying. The instructions indicate that distilled water is preferred. However, I used filtered water and had no mineral buildup issues. If that occurs, there are steps included in the instruction pamphlet regarding cleaning. The steamer also comes with a storage pouch. Overall, this is a nifty and convenient tool.

I wanted this to work so bad. It is easy to use. I filled it with distilled water and let it sit for 15-30 seconds. You have to press it against the material. It takes some work, but it does release the creases and wrinkles in material. I love this because it is compact and portable. I am able to throw it in my suitcase and go.

This is a decent clothes steamer. It’s easy to remove the cap and add water and I didn’t have any issues with water leaking on the clothes. Steam was effective and all that jazz. There’s just no on / off button or adjustments. It’s a plug in and it’s on kind of thing. For the price point I would expect more controls.

The media could not be loaded. This steamer works as expected. It is very compact, which makes it easy to pack when traveling. It heats up really quickly and steams the clothes nicely. Would definitely recommend.
