    • Great Deal for Home Internet
Works really well, and super easy to setup. I’ve lagged a couple times while gaming but that’s because I have an obstruction on the upper side of the dish, which is on me until I get the parts in to mount it, but I’m guessing once that’s fixed I won’t lag at all. I have base plan which is affordable and honestly not sure if I’d even consider the higher plans since it’s so good. ... show more

It es definitely easy to setup. You may want to buy a stand depending on your setup. There are various plans for data on your 2nd and future subscriptions. The strength of the signal es perfect if you use a alternate giga-power modem. The relability of its connection es marvellous en obvious areas than close by. You can be away from the home and get good signal. To tame its speed and get consistent reliability, use a alternate modem and activate bypass mode. • Absolute Game-Changer for Rural Internet: High Speed, Low Latency, Simple Setup
If you live in a rural area where DSL or traditional cable internet simply doesn't exist or is painfully slow like where I live in Alaska, the Starlink Standard Kit is not just an upgrade—it's a revolution. I went from struggling to load a single video stream to easily handling multiple 4K streams, video calls, and intense online gaming simultaneously. Performance is Unmatched (Speeds & Latency): The promise of high-speed, low-latency internet is 100% delivered. My download speeds consistently average well over 100 Mbps, and I've hit peaks over 200 Mbps, which is simply unheard of with traditional satellite or fixed wireless options. The low latency (ping times in the 20-40ms range) is the true miracle; I can now play online games and host smooth, stutter-free Zoom calls, which was impossible before. The Kit and Setup: The AX Tri-Band Wi-Fi System (the Gen 3 router) included in this kit is a significant improvement. It offers excellent Wi-Fi 6 coverage, and the re-introduction of two physical Ethernet ports is a huge win for connecting static devices or external mesh systems. The physical setup is almost unbelievably easy. The dish has a built-in kickstand, and the app walks you through the placement perfectly, telling you exactly where the clear sky view is. I was online and running speed tests within 20 minutes of opening the box. Why I highly recommend it: Yes, the upfront hardware cost and the monthly subscription are higher some traditional internet options, but for the connectivity it provides in remote locations, it is hands down the best value on the market. It's durable, weather-resistant, and fundamentally changes what you can do online. Stop buffering and start streaming! Pros: • Blazing fast speeds for satellite internet. • Incredibly low latency makes gaming and video conferencing viable. • Easy, app-guided setup and integrated kickstand. • Gen 3 router has great range and essential Ethernet ports. Cons: • Requires a completely clear view of the northern sky (use the app to check before you buy!). ... show more

    • Better than expected
It’s easy as heck to setup. We put it up on a pole we had laying around and it works flawless. I use it for work from home, gaming, streaming etc. much nicer than any other satellite internet I’ve ever encountered. It even has a snow melt feature to make sure Minnesota winters don’t slow it down! The plan I have for all this is 200mbps and it’s less than $100 ... show more

    • Worth it!!
I am stunned at how easy the setup is and the speeds that I get. It's faster than my xfinity at home. I am so glad I bought the standard over the mini. My fri3nd has a mini and when we are camped in the Sierra Nevada mountain under thick forest my standard blows his mini away. Worth every cent!

    • Poor packing job by Amazon warehouse!
Starlink is a great item but the Amazon folks did such a lousy job packing the box that the unit broke in transit and had to be returned to the factory. Replacement came straight from Starlink and was well packaged. Works perfectly!

    • Make sure the equipment is angled correct
I've only had it working only about a week, but the reception is awesome Our TV (i thought was always clear) is better than before and we have no problems with our computer, fast as a wink, so far, so pleased!

    • Great little internet connection
Review Image by thomas
Fairly easy to set up. Go on the app on the phone punch. In the serial number tells you how to align it. I bought it when it was 35 bucks a month for 6 months. I have it for another three months. It goes up to $55 a month Middle of the rainstorms full cloud cover, no internet loss cheaper than cable. Just as reliable, just as good for residential, have not tried the roaming one. So far I'm very happy with it ... show more
