These are fun and worked for my birthday cake decor. They are not made with quality silicone. But they were the best I could find.

My son is a huge Star Wars fan and it seemed only right to get these molds for him. I really got my money’s worth too, because now I can make soaps, chocolates, gummies, wax melts, ice cubes, resin decor, etc. and they will be more appealing to him, because the shapes/characters in the molds, are his favorites. They are super stretchy and only required a few minutes in the refrigerator before the chocolate hardened and held its shape. They are very detailed, so be careful when popping out R2-D2 and the X-Wing, because part of the hardened chocolate could break, no matter the level of thickness.

I love the detail in the candies these molds made. My only criticism is the R2D2 is a little too thin to get his "feet" out without breaking. It still worked out great. We just pushed him down into the icing a bit and no one knew.

I think this product is really nice. It is special in its geekiness. I bought it as a gift for someone else, but kept one to myself before wrapping it (they'd never know!). I've only made ice and it is surprising how much detail you actually get in the ice (I kept the R2D2, so one with a lot of detail). Of course be a bit careful with the thinner parts, like the legs, but that is obvious and no fault of the product. I am sure it will be really nice with chocolate or some sort of fondant. I can just imagine a creative cake making use of these moulds.
