I had the original Star Blaster that only had 3 options and solid red wasn't one of them even though solid green was. I upgraded to the 9 because they had more just red options (I like to keep mine up and use for Valentine's Day after Xmas and then St. Patrick's Day). For some reason the green options all seem to have a ton of pixels but the red has less and isn't as prominent. Dissapointed but otherwise it works great for red & green options and just green. The cords are shorter than the original ones. It wasn't an issue as I was using an extension cord anyway but it might be for some people. So far the quality is great and otherwise works as expected. The media could not be loaded. Wow! This Projector has great range. You definitely want to use both (2 pack) to get the coverage you may be expecting. Both are set up outside the home (video and one picture are inside the home) approximately 30 plus feet to the street and you still get a show inside! Keep in mind that the picture of the outside of the home are with just one projector running and the Porch light on. We needed another extension cord to run both, and our porch light is an automatic (can't be shut off easily). Just to give reference to how bright the lights really are. Great value for the price. I will return with updated pictures with both functioning projectors. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This set of 2 laser lights was supposed to arrive November 13th. I believe they were delivered late but any way, these are pretty much disposable lights if they are not even lasting 4 months. We didn’t have much of a winter and of course I don’t know what happened to the one light. What I’m certain of is they are not built to last. This is so disappointing. When this type of light only cost 20.00 each it was not so bad when one died after a couple years. Now they are 45.00 -50.00 each and die in less than 4 months. Update: this light has been kept near a dehumidifier all this time. It still holds moisture and does not work. So it was not sealed properly and it is garbage. ... show more

I can't wait to officially use this on Christmas! I have seen this one at my neighbor's house and the lights look as if they are on a string! Very beautiful!

    • auto function doesn't work
We bought these a year ago but did not use until this year. brighter lights but the photocell does not work well. The lights go off during the day but don't come back on. We have to unplug it to make it work.
