I have a couple of these styles of lights and wanted one that is Alexa compatible, it arrived yesterday, the remote doesn’t work (I tried many batteries in it) and it connected to Alexa for about an hour and now just doesn’t work, so I have no way of controlling the light (because the remote AND Alexa don’t work with it). So it’s essentially useless. You are not able to control the stars (or the moon) with Alexa, just the colors of the clouds. Maybe I was sent a faulty one, I don’t know, but there are a million of these on the market, so don’t waste your money hoping it won’t be a broken one ... show more

The unit wont stay connected to Wifi. I returned it and the replacement unit did the same thing. So I connected it to a switched outlet so I could still turn it on and off with Alexa. It then stays conencted long enough so I can change the display via Alexa. Has a nice display but why it won't stay connected is unknown. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very cute star projector. This one is well made and I like that you can move it and angle it rather than it being fixed straight up onto the ceiling like most. Sometimes my son wants to watch it on the wall instead of the ceiling. The lights are very effective and the stars are great, very realistic looking! The light is really relaxed and there are many settings. The projector makes beautiful stars, the moon and different color aurora on the ceiling, You can switch the moon, the stars and the colors all separately, If you want to make it simple, you could just control it by touching the button on the item surface. It comes with a remote so you can access it rather than manually switching it off if you so wish. It has a timer so it can be switched off rather than leaving it on all night if you forget to manually switch it off. You can link it to Alexa/Google which is a great feature if you use this. At first I thought the voice control was some feature like this. When I read the instructions I found that it is a very interesting thing when you switch to voice control and put your phone close to the projector, the lights flash to the beats of your DJ music. This is so cool when using at a party. My son loves it, perfect to relax or party with. The price is just right it's worth it. I would definitely recommend to families and friends. ... show more

I rated Easy to Use at 4/5. There was a little trouble setting it up. Overall it does what it's supposed to. It has several light patterns and displays, and the speaker quality is okay and easy to connect to Bluetooth. My main issue (which was my own fault for not checking) is that you cannot adjust the aim of the projector. You have to place the projector in the middle of your room if you want it to protect on the middle of your ceiling. So if your bed is against a wall, and you place the projector on an end table next to your bed, it will project straight up that wall instead of beong able to adjust toward the middle of your ceiling. ... show more

So I was really excited for this product, but I'm just a little bummed. Since I don't have wifi I can't use it on the app, so I'm stuck with the base colors available, which would be great to change if my remote didn't quit working on me, since the unit doesn't have any color options on the unit I can't really change anything now. It's stuck on blue, which is my favorite color, but it's decided to start rattling really loudly. The speaker is good, decently loud, a little canned but expectedly so. It's a decent product, it does what it's supposed to I guess, but I will be getting something else to replace it. ... show more

Came exactly as pictured. Super fun for dorm room or off campus house/apartment. It’s super easy to use. It connects to your phone via bluetooth so you can play music.
