This thing is so cool! The effect it puts on the ceiling is absolutely beautiful, I am really impressed by how cool this looks for the price seeing as how a lot of these types of lights are selling for nearly twice this price. We've been using it a A LOT in the few weeks we've had it (every day) and it is holding up great, we haven't had any issues with it thus far. It has different settings and adjustments to choose between which is nice. I also really like that its rechargable and it has a timer built in! Perfect night light! It does make some sound, so if you're the kind of person that needs completely silence to sleep keep that in mind. It's not super loud or anything, but it's not silent. Personally I never sleep without some kind of white noise so it took me a while to even realize it was making noise. This is the perfect item for a kids room! It's super easy to set up and use. You can make it dim or bright for the room and it has a timer that is a nice feature. The colors change on the moon as well as what is projected on the wall! It's mesmerizing to look at and very calming. You can position the astronauts head to move around the projection of the nebula as well. Requires 2 AAA batteries and it only comes with a USB cord so make sure you have a box to use to plug it in! The second this came out of the box and was plugged in, my toddler didn't want to leave our bedroom (she has her own different one in her room, but she likes this one better.). Setting up the different colors and patterns is easy to do with the remote. All it takes is some messing around, and you'll figure out the buttons pretty easy. Adjusting where the light and projection is facing is as easy as moving the head, which sits pretty securely. And I'll be perfectly honest, the projections are really cool, and my kids love them. There are two flaws though. One minor, and the other pretty annoying. The minor annoyance is there isn't really a way to dim the lighting, which if you leave it on through the night, you will be able to see as if a dim lamp is on. The other, bigger flaw is it won't turn itself on if it's been turned off for an extended period of time. You have to physically remove the USB C plug and plug it back in. Which is a shame, because I really like this, and could've learned to accept it being a little too bright at night. ... show more

I got this for my daughters room after my son got a similar one as a birthday gift. They absolutely love it! The colors are bright and you can change them as you want. You can add the star effect or take it away so it is very customizable and it makes it really fun for the kids. it does not stay on all night, that is the only thing I wish it did that it does not do. This is really pretty. It sets a nice mood to whatever room you're in and having the remote controll is awesome. It does not come with batteries for the remote, you'll need 2 AAA batteries. It also is just the USB charger, no wall plug so keep that in mind. Overall I really like this!

    • A great night light
This comes mostly assembled and produces a spectacular projection of stars and clouds. The remote control is a little cryptic and is IR(InfraRed) and needs light-of-sight (ie, it's not RF and doesn't work around corners or through walls). I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a battery, but it's easy enough to find an outlet especially in a bedroom where these are typically used. The only other issue is that the 'head' is rather heavy and not mechanically attached to the 'body' so it could easily be knocked off. The cable connecting the head to the body is permanent and could be broken by accident. The timer feature is great for a night light. Overall this is a great little product. ... show more
