- Made in China - Decently heavy metal base but see details This is what I'd call a light duty heater. While it does have a high and low, even the high isn't that strong. 15sf isn't much, either. It looks good. Minimal, easy to put together and use. It's more for a small porch on early fall or spring evenings, that type of thing. What I'm not all that comfortable with is the fact the pole has only 2 threads into the base. It'll stand there ok if left alone but any table jiggling will make me nervous. I got this for times when we are sitting outside and the weather is still sort of cool. It was very easy to put together, just three pieces. The heat is two levels but not really HOT. Maybe it is because it is so low that it does not shower you with the infrared so some of it is lost. I guess since it sits on a table it can’t throw out too much heat since it points down but I thought it would be a little more than it is. If you have more than one table you will need one for each table. They look nice but for the price I think there are others that would provide better area heat. This really doesn't put out into the space much heat, you have to be very close. For the price, it's lacking in my opinion. It's too bad because the quality and design is nice - all of that is well done. Just too small and doesn't push out the heat in any way.

This thing heats up quick ,but is totally suspect from the the base being a few threads ,and 2 very small screws to hold the top to bottom all is a possible disaster waiting to happen,its a nice design and can really provide warmth but buyer beware its SUS
