Love this lamp! I don’t have a lot of wall space in my living room, but wanted something to brighten the room up at night without having to turn on 4 can lights in the ceiling. This did the trick. Love the remote and the ability to dim or brighten the light.

This lamp is meets the needs I had for an office space: changeable lights, slim, floor lamp. The instructions I received were for a different product, so I had to put it together without. Most of that was simple enough. Unbeknownst to me, the shade was rolled up sideways, so I sat there trying to figure out how to attach it to the metal rings for about 10 minutes. Once I flipped it around, it went together perfectly. The remote has some obsolete buttons. And, because I don't have the instructions, I can only guess at what some of buttons are supposed to do. I don’t review items often. But this is by far the best purchase I made for my nursery. Worth every Penny and a million more. It offers the perfect selection of light for those late night feedings. When the baby was tiny and still in our room I put it in our room with the remote on my bedside. Kept me from tripping everywhere and didn’t wake up my husband when he had to get up for work early. I just cannot say enough how much you need this lamp. And it fits in any space bc it’s so low profile. Throws a ton of light or a little light. Turns on to the last setting when you hit the power button so no sudden surface of the Sun action either. The. Best. Ever.     • Nice lamp but remote control has a problem
We like the lamp itself but the remote control is a huge issue. We bought more than one of the lamps for different rooms. As the remote controls do not use different frequencies for different lamps. Changing anything for one lamp will change it for your entire house. Turning off a lamp in the living room will turn on a lamp in the bed room for example (where a person may sleep). This is really bad. Why not use infrared for the remote controls that does not go through walls? There is no button on the lamp so you can only use the remote control. ... show more

    • Great Settings - Remote No Longer cCnnects
This lamp was perfect for my space and the settings are simple and make it easy to get the right lighting for your setting. Unfortunately after a year of using the lamp my remote no longer connects. I would really love to know how to get this to work again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't dislike anything about this lamp. Many people seem to have difficulty with the initial assembly but it isn't nearly as difficult as they say. Basically, just remember to thread the power cord through the stem assembly while putting it together. Also, the wire frame basket for the bottom holder of the lamp shade goes upside down; which is counterintuitive but not a big deal. The lamp shade is unrolled in the opposite direction than it was shipped. That's it, no other issue. It works very well, the light is pleasing and has several brightness/temp settings that are easy to set with the remote. You can buy a cord extension with a foot switch if you don't want to risk losing the remote; they're cheap. The manufacturer would save themselves a lot of customer complaints if they just included that extension in the box, but that's just my opinion. ... show more
