    • Perfect for the Kohler K321, amazing value.
The OEM Kohler version of this coil is $70, and not being entirely sure this was my problem, investing $11 to find out was very enticing. I am restoring a Cub Cadet 147 and have been chasing my tail for weeks between the carb, points, and valve gap setting. NOTHING would make this newly rebuilt K321 run right. It had spark so I hadn't even given it a second look. Big mistake. My problem ended up simply being a weak spark from the ancient original coil. This thing runs perfectly now thanks to this new coil. It looks very high quality, and has a nice grey finish. I am very impressed and will be buying a back up and will still be under $25!     • Don’t get this, you’re wasting you’re money
It sucks. It literally lasted a hour. Was mowing with no issues and about a hour into the tractor stopped running. Started troubleshooting it, turned the key on and smoke started pouring out of the coil. Zero durability in this product. Needs to be made to last for years, not a hour. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but I do recommend that the manufacturer make a better product that actually stands up to usage. ... show more

Put this in a 1946 Willys Jeep when my old ignition coil burned out because I stupidly left the ignition on while recharging the battery which fried and literally smoked out the garage when the old coil oil started to burn off 8 hours into charging. No issues with this coil. Looks good and performs well on my jeep. ... show more

    • Eliminate those pesky external resistors. Great coil to do just that!
Was suggested to me to use an INTERNAL resistor coil for my 12volt converted Ford 8n. This eliminates the need for those pesky EXTERNAL resistors . This coil works perfect AND IS LABELED "Internal Resistor" for future reference. Great spark and easy starts.

    • An old name with modern quality
This coil worked ok on my 1967 Ford 4500 for 1 1/2 months, then started to quit when the engine got to operating temp. I put a cheap no name coil on so I can keep working. Standards have been lowered.

For some reason it only lasted a week. Had to reuse the old one until I could order and receive a better one. It isn't always a good idea to buy lower priced products.
