Description

When the original failure-prone wireless ignition module, or wireless ignition node (WIN), on certain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles isn't functioning properly, the symptoms are more than just inconvenient - they render the vehicle unusable. That's because the WIN is an integrated electronic receiver that communicates through the powertrain control module (PCM) with multiple onboard convenience and safety systems, including the keyless entry remote and starter. When the WIN fails, the vehicle cannot be started with the keyless remote and the park/shift interlock cannot be disabled. This direct replacement wireless ignition module is designed to match the fit and function of the original module, and will restore the critical communication between the key fob, module and PCM to ensure the operation of those systems and other factory-installed features to original equipment standards. You DO NOT have to program the WIN to your truck like the explanations say, all you have to do is put it in then program the key fob. You also DONT call the dealership to get a PIN the old PIN on your truck is WIN specific. You have to buy jscan or something similar to read the pin AFTER putting in this module. After using my jscan to read the pin, one try to program the key fob to the WIN the module locked down and wouldnt unlock. Even the dealership couldnt unlock it. Return was easy and got my money back. Bought a new one at orreillys and it programmed fine. ... show more

Easy to install. Easy to use A little on the pricy side but gotta have what the vehicle needs. Works as it should. Make sure to use a local locksmith to program it with your keys!

    • Solved my random shutting off issue
My truck was randomly shutting off and replacing the ignition module solved that. I was able to program it and my keys with Alfaobd at home and was up and going again in no time

You have to go to the dealer to get your pin and have a nice scan tool to program it. Easy install and works well.
