2014 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L - Installation of the TRQ Ignition Coils and the matching red TRQ Ignition Cables took about 45 minutes for all 8. I also replaced my spark plugs (AC Delco) which took longer since some of them are hard to get to. All the TRQ parts connected easily and securely. Truck drives much smoother after doing this at 134,000 miles. I definitely recommend performing this maintenance. It's not hard at all and easy to not realize your truck needs it! I purchased and installed these in August 2025 and they worked great until yesterday (March 28, 2026) when they gave out on me and left me stranded in the street blocking traffic. I had the car towed to my mechanic who pinpointed the issue as a cylinder 3 misfire. Unfortunately when a BMW X3 senses a misfire it cuts the fuel to protect the engine. My mechanic swapped the coil in cylinder 3 to another cylinder and that one also began to misfire. As of now it's past the Amazon return window but there is a 2 year factory warranty. I sent an email and I'm hoping they will just refund my money instead of replacing them since I've already purchased new coils and replaced these. We will see. I have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler with 63,000mi and used an endoscope to check the oil filter housing for a common leak issue with the 3.6L Pentastar engine. I was disappointed to find a pool of oil around the housing. I checked replacement videos and decided if I'm gonna go through all the work to replace the oil filter housing, I'm also going to replace everything else while I'm in there. I ordered a Dorman aluminum housing, Bosch iridium spark plugs, TRQ aluminum thermostat, PCV valve and TRQ coil packs. Mind you, I had no other problems with the engine or anything else with the truck. It took me 11.5 hours over a 2 day period to do the work because I severely injured my left arm a week before from falling off the porch (I'm a 62 year old software engineer). Anyway, I have 1000 miles on the coil packs with no problems with any of the work or parts I used. Performance isn't any better or worse than it was before I worked on it. ... show more

Mixed these guys with some nice denso iridium spark plugs. The fit was great. Easy to install. They look pretty cool. And you can tell the difference. It's definitely a smoother pick up in speed. 2 Years later, one of the coils almost completely melted the electrode in an Iridium spark plug in #4 cylinder. When I went to change out the plugs and replace these coils (warranty expired 2 months ago), the majority of spark plugs were also showing signs of erosion and huge plug gaps.
