These TRQ Ignition Coil Set were a spot-on replacement for my 2003 Toyota Sequoia, and the difference was immediate and impressive—after installing the full set, all the random misfires that had been plaguing the engine completely vanished, smoothing out the idle and eliminating those frustrating hesitation and rough running issues. Even with the vehicle still holding strong memories up to 194,000 miles, it now feels like it's running the best it ever has—stronger acceleration, better throttle response, and that silky V8 power Toyota is known for, with no more CEL flashing or power loss on highway pulls. The coils bolted right in with perfect fitment for the 4.7L engine, no adapters or modifications needed, and the build quality feels solid compared to some of the cheaper aftermarket ones I've tried before. I'd installed these TRQ Coil Packs & new spark plugs Thurs May 9th, 2024 in a 2017 Ford Expedition. Twin-Turbo 3.5L EcoBoost V6. Install being about an hour in a 1/2-2 hours, went in pretty easy w/o any real problems. Now when I'd bought the truck when 2 years old back in 2019 with 50,000 miles, I figured it might be a good idea to 'jus do the coil packs n' plugs, so I'd done so buying the 1st round of coil packs/plugs here on Amazon, (prob 150$ for all-6 coil packs & 6 new plugs).... Two packs died in that 1-1/2 year span, throwing error codes, id temp replaced em with a few older/original ones that worked & that I'd saved. The only real performance mods Ive installed on the truck being: -A throttle Body Spacer -K & N Cold air Intake (Well sealed to bottom side of hood with home-spun mods) -'Pedal Commander' -Have only run premium 92-93 octane fuel/with octane booster in every tank since buying due to turbos. Regular oil changes/etc.... So im prob running 395-400 or so HP/435-440 ft lbs of torque with such additions VS Fords stock 385HP. & 425 ft lbs IIRC?.. No wild aftermarket tunes added or done since purchasing, what its got now is QUITE enough. Upon test driving yesterday after TRQ/New Champion Iridium spark plugs installation, I'd noticed a SIGNIFICANT increase in acceleration, turbo lag reduction (Which the Pedal Commander DEF helps with too) a more stable Idle & MUCH better overall throttle response.... Plus, the coil packs are RED, now Ive always thought the whole RED = "!FASTAH!" was just a myth of sorts, but Ive been proven WRONG on that one!....;) Id also noticed a MARKED difference in physical WEIGHT between my older grey colored 'Performance Coil Packs" & the TRQ Coil Pack product, meaning better materials used/more metal-Copper/Insulating epoxy used within TRQ's Coil pack construction. The TRQ's also have a thin layer of RTV silicone electrical insulator within the coil packs rubber boot where it connects/marries to the top of the spark plug, which the other old ones didnt... ~HIGHLY recommended for the price/value. Don’t waste your money. So far two out of the four coils have failed with not even two years. I thought maybe the gap was wrong on the plugs or fouling but the plugs are good.

The coils appear to be of good construction, they were pre-dielectic greased. They went right into place with no issues. The truck runs better (my wife noticed), I also appear to have picked up about a mile a gallon. The old coils were MSD that had abt 100k on them, the started giving me a high rev misfire, so I decided it was time to replace them (already replaced plugs). I have used other TRQ parts (front wheel bearings and 4wd actuators) and had no issues with them so I thought I would try the coils. My truck runs very smooth, gas pedal response improved. When time allows, I'll put my performance tune back in it and see what it does. ... show more

First set i ordered unfortunately had a bad coil. I was able to replace them quickly and fortunately I had my original coils so I could still drive. They were a good buy non the less. It helped my fuel mileage by a couple mpg. Everything is running smoothly with them.

Worked very well. After about 15 months, one started misfiring. However after contacting TRQ, they sent a replacement as it was under warranty. I called on Thursday had the replacement by Sunday. Great customer service.

i will say that i will try to remember to give 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, and 1 year updates. my car is a 2004 BMW 645ci E64. i got the ICA58748 performance red "size". the car would start ok but giving any amount of gas could/would give the engine malfunction warning and have a super rough idle. i do know that it wasnt just the ignition coils because there was a little bit of oil in the cylinder head and spark plug well. but changing the spark plugs and ignition coils has stopped the engine malfunction 100%. drives like a dream. i am very pleased with the item and hope they last longer than some of the reviews have stated. i was a little worried that i got the wrong set because the ICA58748 performance red "size" states "2002-16 BMW 550i 650i 750i 750Li Alpina B7 X5 X6 M5 M6" but the ignition coils of the 2004 BMW 645ci E64 and the 2004 bmw 650i ignition coils are interchangeable ... show more
