I grew up in a kitchenaid house, but didn't want to spend that much when I only go through bursts here and there of using a mixer. I've used this 5 times over 2 months now and love it. Sticks to the counter securely, bowl locks well, cleans easily, intuitive to use and the built-in timer is non-negotiable for me in a mixer now; so useful. Only minor complaints are I almost flung it off the counter the first time I unlocked the head, because it springs backwards if you don't guide it, and I do wish the bowl had a handle for when it's off the mixer.

So I'll start with my concerns. The mixing head isn't adjustable--what you get is what you get. I worry that over time, the parts will wear down and I'll get some bounce or too much contact with the bowl and ingredients. The top is electronic and while there's great features, I worry about the ability to clean when there's a moving part where liquid can get in and mix with whatever baking residue gets in there during normal use. And this operates when the bowl isn't fully locked in so you have to really get that bowl locked or you run the risk of that bowl coming loose and the powerful motor knocking your ingredients everywhere. The color is a bit less vibrant than the product photos but it helps it blend into my kitchen. There's no funky, striking appliance on the counter and it's more functional than flashy. The suction cups at the bottom are handy to keep it in place but it's difficult to move it when you need to clean around it or put it away. The sound is pretty loud but it's a mixer, you should expect noise from such a powerful motor. That being said it isn't an unpleasant sound, it sounds refined, well engineered and even when bogged down with a heavier dough it keeps on turning without much complaint. The features are so advanced I'm still getting used to having them even after weeks of use. The suggested speeds and timer ensure that ingredients aren't overworked or pushed beyond their limits. The included mixing paddle, dough hook and whisk are all easy to clean as is the mixing bowl. The cover makes sure all ingredients are contained to the bowl and are properly mixed in instead of ending up on the counter. I'm not familiar with this brand but I decided to take a gamble on this at the price and it paid off. I hope that the manufacturer grows and has a bigger presence so they can provide service down the road if I ever need it.

The previous machine was complicated and unstable, this one is a complete upgrade! One button to start without the manual, extremely stable during operation. Kneading and whipping are super fast, saving half the time for making desserts, very practical!
