Description

The V20 BRUSHLESS RP 1/2" drive high torque compact impact wrench comes with a powerful brushless motor that provides the power necessary for a wide range of fastening applications with 700 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1000 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. The three-speed transmission and variable speed trigger gives the user the necessary control for multiple applications. 1/2 impact gun also features a hog ring anvil to help ease switching different socket sizes. The glass filled nylon housing provides extra protection in an automotive friendly environment. Finally, an LED light helps improve visibility in those dark, hard to access, work areas.

    • This Craftsman Impact Driver is worth every Penny!!
I am very pleased with this Craftsman impact driver. I almost didn’t buy it because of the high price but every time I use it I’m so glad I spent the extra money. I’ve had this driver for over 2 years now and have used it hundreds of times and it still works as good as the day I bought it. Never ran across a bolt it wouldn’t loosen or tighten with ease - and I’ve changed out just about every part on a vehicle with it including control arms, wheels (lug nuts) struts/shocks, motor and transmission bolts, and the main bolt in the rear axle (notoriously hard to loosen). It makes changing out lawn mower blades a breeze. I have only had to use the “3” setting, which is the highest power setting, a couple of times. Battery life - I’ve used this driver intermittently all weekend and still have plenty of battery left. The only “negative” I can think of is the weight (heavy), but with as much power as this Craftsman impact driver has, it’s a fair trade-off. Summary - This is a big boy driver for heavy duty projects; if you need a lightweight driver, buy a smaller one for when maximum torque is not required - but buy this driver as well to handle the big stuff. Don’t be cheap -a lot of impact wrenches can be found for considerably less money; but once you use this driver and experience the performance, you will understand why it costs more. Gets those tires off in a hurry. Just a warning, she does have 700 foot pounds behind her, so, PLEASE, use a bar to tighten your nuts, a proper torque wrench would be better. Love, Every tire guy in town. This thing is a beast. 700 ft./lbs. of torque is no joke. This is a great quick tool that beats waiting for a compressor to spin up. ... show more

More than enough torque to break lug nuts or anything you want to tackle. . Great to carry with you in the trunk of car your car during the winter months. Buy three batteries and keep all three charged. 2 at home. Then carry the impact in the trunk just encase you have a flat tire on the side of the interstate. Rotating the batteries once a month. I bought one for my daughter and an impact socket for her long drive to and from work while it’s dark. She can never break the lug nuts loose after being torqued to spec at tire shop. Great peace of mind for my daughter traveling on the road. Then use it to change upper and lower ball joints on my old pickup on the weekend. Worth every penny!! ... show more

LOVE this impact gun!! Used this to install and remove large bolts/nuts with no problem. It is strong enough to remove a crank pulley bolt on a GM LS motor with no hesitation. I love the three speed variables, give you the option to control the speed and torque.

I bought another off brand tool like this and it would not remove the lug nuts this one really impressed me as soon as I received the package I charge the battery got me an impact socket and went out to my vehicle and it ripped the lug nuts off with no problem
