The seller was very quick to help me remedy the situation. They have been very good about working with me. The main issue is that the image showed 21.6" width, but that does not include the cap nuts that stick out from the sides of the frame. The actual minimum clearance is 23.75", but keep in mind that your door will stick out into the door frame due to the way hinges and geometry work. There are special offset hinges that allow the door to completely clear the doorway (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX8QZQZW). However, a standard door frame also has the door stop moulding that sticks out about 3/8" on both sides of the door. That means a 24" door frame will only have 23.25" of clearance. You would need to flip the bolts around so that the cap nuts go toward the inside. This is possible with all of the carriage bolts except for the ones that hold the knee braces. For those, I had to order four M10x1.5x45mm hex bolts so I could fit them into the round holes from the outside and have the cap nuts on the inside. All told, after about $50 in extra parts and modifications, the lift fits through my 24" door opening. If your doorway is 26" or more, then you shouldn't have any issues. The product itself is amazing. It is extremely well-built and functions well. I am very pleased with the construction and performance. If not for my extremely narrow doorway, I would have given it 5-stars from the beginning. I'm bumping it up from 1-star to 5-stars now that I can use it after the modifications and the compensation given by the seller to help with that problem.

I am a caregiver for my partner who is unable to move his left side due to a stroke. Having this lift has helped transition him to various areas without hurting me or him. It can be difficult with his left leg sliding through the front but we were able to compensate with a belt. The only issue we've had is pushing it on a carpet. It can be very hard, but being able to transition to bed, the sofa, the wheelchair, and the toilet has been great.

Seat pads already attached to poles.. one side is really tight and hard to move - I assume over tighten bolt, the other side moves easily which I assume is correct.. bolt has unusual head and not sure what tool ( Allen wrench , screwdriver ) works on it... device came with wrench & Allen wrench to assemble

Solid product, sturdy and easy to move around. Not too difficult on carpet. however the assembly instructions were misleading. Step 1 doesn't mention the spring washers, which i used. Step 2 indicated M10 carriage bolts, but It should be the M10 Hex Head bolts.
