Update: The weather's warmed up, so we finally took the pool basketball hoop out for a spin. Filling it with water was a breeze. The ball deflates fairly quickly, but because it's soft it didn't hurt when it hit my head. The backboard and base feel solid and don't wobble. When I bounced the ball on the board it popped up easily, which actually makes the game more forgiving for kids. The 32‑inch shatterproof backboard is a good size for casual play, and it comes with two balls and a pump. The stability of the backboard and base is a real benefit. It's been fun for us and we've had a few decent games. The ball's quick deflation is a minor drawback, but it doesn't ruin the experience. All told the set provides decent poolside entertainment and our family seems to enjoy it. Original: Feels nice and sturdy mostly because of the stainless steel metal frame on the main pole and rim. The shatterproof PC backboard looks pretty sharp with those transparent elements. The base is a thick plastic so I'm not worried about durability but I'll probably hit it with an outdoor UV protectant spray just to protect the polymer from UV degradation. Assembly went fast. The setup instructions are short and simple. Getting the frame put together didn't take long at all when I tried building it but filling the base will probably take me just as much time if not longer. The adjustable height works out great for my 5-year-old daughter who needs a distraction from the K-pop dances she's always trying to perfect. It comes with 2 basketballs and a pump (balls are easy to grip) so we're ready to play. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can get this in the pool. ... show more
