I've only had this for a week and finally my cat went to drink out of it (I had other bowls of water down don't worry) but when it came on, it scared him. It's an awfully large container. More suited I think for someone who leaves their animals for days at a time (smh) it's a good unit. It's quiet and has two modes. 1) option is every 15 minutes it turns on to freshen, or 2) the sensor comes on when your cat approaches. For the money, it's a great unit but keep in mind it's a bit big. UPDATE: THE MOTOR STOPPED WORKING! LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OF USE! And I can't get any help getting in touch with the manufacturer from Amazon's bot chat. It's getting more and more disappointing that you can't buy something that lasts for a reasonable amount of time. 😔 Pass on this one ... show more

So far so good, I've had it about a week, still on its first charge, kitty's picked up on how it's works pretty quick and have already emptied it once they drink so good out of it, which makes me very pleased with this purchase. At this point if it were to wear out down the road I'd definitely want another one, my only one thing I'm not liking is the exact filters for this so far I can only find I'm I'm able to purchase, I don't like how this is working out as far as that cause I only purchase stuff that's prime, and I'm not into waiting weeks or a month to receive my product that might not even be as good of a purchase as when done when it's prime backed with prime on it not just free shipping if you have prime, that doesn't work for me. Being as I'm happy with this product I'll figure out how to find the filters I need.. ... show more
