Very effective!
It’s small, quiet and does a great job controlling the humidity. I actually could use a larger one, but I have this one in my kitchen which is also next to my bathroom (most humid rooms upstairs). I empty it twice a day right now. The water receptacle is light and it’s very easy to dump the water. My bed/sheets/pillow no longer feel damp. Very happy with this dehumidifier!

How dry I am
This is awesome. I never would have believed it would be as efficient as it is. When I opened the box, I saw the smaller size (thank the one I had) and was nervous. But, upon use, My wife and I are extremely happy. It is quiet, easy to set the controls (the other one was confusing) and with the included drain hose, easy to maintain and drain. This unit performs beyond expectations. Cost efficient, energy efficient, and super quiet. Easy peasy!

Worth the money!
I have this in a 600sq ft open area and it works amazing! It's very quiet, easy to use and it matches the other appliances in my house. The tank is a little small and I usually have to dump it a couple of times a day after leaving it on automatic, but it's easy to empty and put the tank back, and it starts back up on it's own.

AEOCKY Max 40 Pint/D Dehumidifier with Drain Hose
I'm reluctant to give any dehumidifier 5 stars. I use them for one summer in my basement and they work fine. Then as soon as the 12 month warranty is over, they fail. But so far this little unit has been great, quiet, and easy to use. I have it secured on a bench since it isn't too big, and have the water drip into a 2 gallon pail, which i have to empty every evening and then again early the next day. Both units I bought last year have failed. One I put an extended warranty on and has been taken care of. Update 8/5/26 I do love this unit. I bought 2 dehumidifiers for 2 different areas about the same time, different name brands. I have them emptying into 2 gallon buckets because of the Location they are in, and I don't use extension cords on these units. In short this unit out performs a 5000 sq.ft. 80 pint max. dehumidifier, I wish I had the money to buy a larger AEOCKY.

Small but mighty!
I am ashamed to say we did not read the measurement specs on this dehumidifier, only the square footage it would cover! Our basement dehumidifier died 3 months ago and we tried to do without one. However the damp walls, floor and musty smell was becoming very noticeable! Our basement is about 600 square feet for reference and we used the drainage hose rather than the bucket. It did take 3 weeks plus to bring down the high humidity and smell but it did do the job, the size is convenient as it is light and easy to move , this unit is effective and drainage to the main drain was fine. Happy with this purchase now but was worried about the small size, just had to be patient!

Compact, quiet, effective
This is much smaller than my old dehumidifier that I needed to replace, but seems to be just as effective, and is much quieter. I leave it running in the basement during the summer months. The hose they supply to connect to a drainage point is rather short, but it includes a connector so that you can attach an additional length of hose. Overall very pleased with this product.

Runs nonstop and can't achieve below 50%.
Works, very quiet. Bought to replace older unit which was extremely noisy. Rated for the same size room. This unit runs on high non-stop and cannot get the humidity below 50%. Old unit can cycle on and off and still achieve 35%. I run the noisy one when not home. I do not recommend this.

Highly effective and reliable
A power house for Texas humidify! I’ve had it working for less than 24 hours and have already emptied the water basin 4 times. Living in Texas, we can feel the humidity in the house ergo dehumidifier. The humidity level seems very accurate, increases when we open the outside doors or when we take a shower. We have an open concept 2100 sq house and the 2800 unit is in our living room. The unit is very quiet, it is more quiet than our air conditioner unit (which is also very quiet) and when on silent mode, it is even more quiet. Easy to set up and empty. Controls are easy to use. Highly effective unit. My only wish is that they had a smaller unit that we could keep on our bedroom. I can see why this dehumidifier is so highly rated! Yes it’s worth it and yes it works fantastic!
