True to size. Perfect fit to replace a cheap cover that came with the fire pit that tore quickly. The material is much heavier and seems like it will be more durable. Using it right now mainly to keep dust and dirt off of the fire pit as we store it inside a storage barn when not in use, so can't comment on waterproof quality, but it seems like it would be fairly water resistant. When I bought my fire pit last summer, it sat in its box until now. I also bought this cover and hoped it would fit since I was over the 30 day return policy. Well, it fit like it was made for it. I am pleasantly impressed with its design and size. The pull cord with locking cord attachment makes it tight to prevent the wind and weather from displacing it. The cover also has locking straps, but there is not enough strap to wrap around the wide legs on the pit. I would recommend this cover to everyone. ... show more
