I have several acres (mostly wooded) and found logging marks on several of my trees. I caught the culprits on my standard trail cameras but needed a solution to notify me of activity, not catch it on an SD card several hours later. I live in a remote area with sketchy cell service so I was very skeptical these would even work. They work great!     • Doesn't get a signal in the woods
For 120 acres, I purchased four of these but only one camera gets 50% signal and the others won't connect at all. I brought them home and they get a signal no problem. I thought it was the leaves, so I went back out, and went out again today, still no signal. The picture quality is low unless the deer stands right in front of it. Maybe they work good on a deer farm but they don't work well in the forest. I'm stuck with useless cameras. And, if you want more than 100 pictures, you have to pay for them. Go buy yourself a good TRAIL camera and enjoy checking your discs again. I do not recommend buying. I can hold my cell phone in one hand and hold the camera in the other. My phone gets a signal and I'm watching the app work but the camera won't connect to a signal? You tell me. ... show more

I bought this 2 pack on Prime Day for $129.99 and just grabbed another one earlier for $149.99 and it’s already shipped and the price is now back at $129.99 so that is kind of annoying. Set up was pretty easy, make sure you have 8 batteries for each camera as well as a micro SD card for each. Also you get 100 free pictures a month with each camera but considering I’ve gotten almost 50 pictures today alone with nothing on them you’ll probably want to purchase a plan, the plans are by camera not account which is also annoying. So say you get the unlimited, it is $15 per camera a month. Overall they are useful and will get the job done that we need them for. ... show more

I have 22 of these cameras now. I love them! Setup is easy. And my favorite feature of them, is honestly the on/off power switch! Its not a push button where its hard to tell if the cameras powered on or not as you walk away from it. Its just a simple slide switch thats either visibly on or off. They take great pictures even in low or no light conditions. And they reach pretty far. These are the most reliable cameras I have purchased to date. And I plan to get more. I'd suggest waiting til the off season to purchase them when the price drops. I think I got the twin pack for around $140 when I purchased it. The cell service does not send HD pictures unless requested.(50 HD pictures for $5) But they are stored on the SD card in HD. And you get 100 pictures sent to your phone or laptop per month per device for free. ... show more

I think that everyone should know when you purchase a camera, there are software updates that will need to be done and out of the 6 cameras I have, all 6 had to be replaced because the update wouldn't work. I also purchased Spypoint's rechargeable LIT batteries and they do not work in every camera. Lastly, when you create an account with Spypoint, you only get 7-8 monthly HD photos for your account no matter how many cameras you have. There is a lot of small print that the consumer should know and please learn from my mistake of not reading the fine print. Dealing with their customer service via CHAT on their website is very lengthy and you get a lot of generic responses that are very time consuming. I spent a lot of money driving to get cameras that just shut down due to updates. ... show more

The range is short or the pictures become grainy. Easy to use and set up. I purchased a plan with both cameras. Very happy with the purchase. The temp doesn’t read properly all the time but everything else is good.

    • Good camera, good pictures, cost effective but confusing operation and support
I have had these cameras for 2 years (not these specific ones). The first year I was impressed. The second year 2 of these cameras got destroyed in a Forrest fire. I have tried to cancel the photo plan on the destroyed cameras and it is very difficult to do even though the cameras don't exist anymore. I got 2 more and activated them one at a time, one on my phone app and one on my laptop. Now one of them doesn't show up. The ones that are out there working are doing a great job so maybe it is me. ... show more
