I have had this item over 2 years, thats 2 winters and it has held up beautifully. I put a sealent on mine to keep the color and maintain the wood. Each piece is labled with a number and the instructions are pretty simple the hard part is if you are hand wrenching * if you do i understand. But for the fastest assembly have at least 2 people ga5her your pieces and put them in order first because yes ut is alot and that alone will take you an hour, if possible i would suggest a power tool to assit. It took us about 5 hours for assembly. Dont complain about the time it takes its not a small swing set , its really nice so yeah its a lot of pieces. Take your time take breaks and relax. So far me and my son used this everyday even in the winter he is out their playing, as an only child im out there with him and he loves his swing set and so do i. Yes it has held up to our weather and still looks the same i would recommend sealing the wood though to maintain the finish.

This is a good swing set for smaller yards and younger kids. It is sturdy, but not really built to handle a large weight capacity. My only complaint is that I had to buy bigger ground anchors to make sure it stayed on the ground when multiple kids are using it.

We initially received shipping info for only one box, so when that one arrived and "Box 1 of 2" was printed on the side, we waited a few days to see if the 2nd box would ship before contacting Amazon/sellers. Luckily it arrived 2 days later. We pulled out all the pieces and lined them up to count and ready for assembly and realized we had one cracked board and more than half of the hardware was missing. We pulled everything back up onto our patio out of the elements to wait as I contacted customer service via the information provided in the instruction manual. I was assured they would ship replacements after I provided the missing and broken part numbers. After a few follow up reminder emails and phone calls, the replacements arrived 3 weeks after the initial contact with customer service. All pieces were finally accounted for. Assembly took 5-6 hours, and my husband assisted when I needed the pieces to be held up/together while I screwed them together. But for the most part, it was easy for me to follow the instructions and do a lot of it in my own. We did weatherproof the set after assembly and it is beautiful. We didn't anchor it but will probably be doing that soon.

This was a good bargin but came w headaches. The nails that came w it broke and we had to go to a few hardware stores to find something compatible. The nails that were given to mount into the ground were replaced by us something more strong. The ones provided are tiny. Some of the holes the company drilled were in the wrong spot so we had to drill new holes. All in all for 899 it doesn't look bad and works and beats paying 3k for a comparison. I won't ask my husband to build another next time I'll pay 3k and have it up in a day I think. I'd recommend to someone w patience Update. What a piece of trash. We assembled in May it's now September and the awning has torn off. What trash. Spend another 1k and get something better.

This is fairly easy to assemble, but it’s a 1-2 day project depending on your skill level. Things to consider: 1. This does not get set in concrete like the legs of a metal pole does. Be absolutely sure you use the supplied anchors per the instructions. Big swingers will lift this off the ground if you don’t. 2. It sits on whatever surface you build it on (obviously) and it’s NOT RECOMMENDED per the instructions to have it sitting on the ground. You’ll have to add sand, gravel or other well draining material if it’s not already there. 3. A helper is awesome - I had some help, but it can be done by one person. I loaded 3 photos of my finished product. I built mine on the ground - then I added cement blocks used for 4x4 posts (I had to chip the tops of the blocks around the sandbox so the base would fit in the 4x4 area) - then I anchored it down, added railroad ties, and then pea gravel. You don’t have to go to all this trouble, but I feel like it’ll last longer this way. I am very happy with this outcome - the kids LOVE IT!

Questionable Quality - Many of the wooden parts are quite flimsy. If using a power screw driver, you have to be very careful not to drive the screws in too deep. Lightly hammer in the locking bolts to avoid splitting a part - as we did The wood is by no means "cedar." Instead, the wood is stained a cedar color of sorts Challenging to Assemble - My son and I assembled the swing set. Both of us are very adept at assembling "things." The illustrations are too small, and they do not always make it apparently clear which side of the board the screw goes into. A word of caution, DO NOT tighten the A-frame screws down until you have them all started - and then only tighten them snug. You need to keep some play in the frames to allow for small adjustments - and once they are all in, go back and hand tighten the screws. In a couple of cases, metric measurements were given to the hundredths of a decimal, which you'll have to convert to inches. There are a lot of parts; it took the two of us almost 5-hours to assemble it. If I had to do this again, I would have purchased a much better and more expensive swing set. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this set to my friends nor would I buy one again. Depending on your budget and ability to assemble "things" with poor instructions, it might work for you. On a positive note, once you anchor the unit, it is quite sturdy. Only time will tell how durable the unit will be. I ordered this set for our grandchildren when they come over to our house. Our 3 year old granddaughter loves it. Our 6 year old granddaughter likes it. From that perspective alone, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
