I truly love this coat! I was looking for a new long winter coat that was truly warm and not too expensive. Let me first say that I'm a full-figured gal and I've been truly blessed with physical dimensions therefore I was looking for a size 4x. The largest size this coat came in at the time I ordered was a 3x. I bought it with apprehension thinking that I was wasting my money. I was very much surprised! It's not as long as I wanted it to be but it does come to my knees (and I'm 5'6). It has a nice huge hood that is detachable, large inside pockets, and side buttons around the knees (see photos). It is very warm and you can wear layers (I tried it with a turtle neck and a thick sweatshirt and was comfortable) and still be able to move around in it. I ordered a size up. It is a bit big, but I prefer roomy coats. This keeps me really warm and is the perfect length for my needs. The hood is comfortable, and I get compliments on the color all the time. The color is a rich burgundy.

This is a stylish, lightweight, warm puffer jacket with a hood. I took off one star because the hood was not removable and it did not have a two way zipper or inside wrist cuffs. Love the color and look of the jacket. Looks like the picture. I got the navy blue. Fits me well. I am a 5'6 280lb woman with a 46DD bust area and I got the 3x. I can also add an extra layer of clothing. Love that it has extra room. It also keeps you warm which is a plus. If you have a lot of hair, the hoodie can hold it all in. No worries. Good quality material. The hood has a detachable faux fur strip. The zippered pockets can hold gloves, wallet, etc., and will not fall out. Very pleased with this coat. I felt it was true to size.

    • CRAZY FIT - CHEST & BACK AREAS 2-SIZES TOO LARGE; BOTTOM TOO TIGHT - RUNS SMALL

This is the oddest-cut coat. It is TOO SMALL (tight zip) IN THE HIPS and 2+-SIZES TOO BIG IN THE CHEST AND BACK AREA. I checked the Size Chart as well as my actual height 5'5" usually wearing 2-inch boots bringing me to 5'7". I compared my weight with other reviews also for sizing to ensure proper fit and NO RETURNS. Because I am curvy, solid, and muscular with a larger hourglass/pear shape. Thank God, muscle weighs more and I don't look as heavy as my weight is on the scales. I wanted extra room in my coat for Chicago's extremely cold and windy weather layering days. Instead of ordering my Size Chart measurements suggested 1X size, I ordered up one size to the 2X size. The fit was the craziest extreme thing I have ever seen! I could barely zipper the bottom together = the Size Chart hip area runs 1-2 sizes too small. HOWEVER, the chest and back area ran extremely large - like 2-2.5 sizes or so too large for me. I could gather and twists enough extra fabric to place comfortably place a child in the chest area with me and attach a baby to my back. It fit like they were putting together two different-sized coats together an oversized Pregnant Plus top and Misses bottom. There are only two pockets but, it looks like you have four pockets. There is a very odd pocket flap placed UNDER each pocket that is a faux pocket. I thought wow, real metal zippers these will last a long time! But, both pocket zippers were not lined to zip close together. It looks like someone learning how to sew put the zippers on and couldn't get the zipper ends to meet. They are not lined up in the pockets and it is noticeable. The zipper's closing ends look damaged. This is sad because I wanted this coat to work. It's going back and it looks like this brand looks will not fit curvy plus girls like me properly. The picture looked like a nice fashionable coat with metal zippers. I don't know what to say about sizing for me the coat was both too big and too small nothing fitted just right or gave the right amount of extra space for layering. BTW if you live in a windy city like Chicago, the wrist area does not have the fitted knit wrists to block air from going up the sleeves either. ... show more
