I really like the controller. We have it paired with the 10 outlet unit and it works wonderfully. It is easy to use, which is great because the instructions don’t ay much other than what is the function of the knobs. Used the app but can’t get it to work. It finds the controller but will not pair with it. HOWEVER, everything can be done manually and works well.

I bought this from Spider farmers website just to find out it doesn't control anything but a light and probe sensor. In order to control every other piece of equipment, including a humidifier and fan, you need their surge protector which has built in adapters for Ethernet to USB-C connection. Here's the kicker, the surge protector isn't available for another 3-6 months and it costs $299.99. May I also mention you need to be connected via Ethernet for it be managed remotely? This system doesn't even support wifi. Why not? Other brands do and they're not as expensive. This whole setup doesn't make sense on top of costs and I'd much rather spend my money on AC Infinity's products. At least there I can return an item and not be badgered by spider farmers customer service persuading me into keeping an item I obviously don't need. Giving you my honest opinion, this brand is overrated and warranty claims have been known to be mediocre. I do not recommend. If for whatever reason my comment is deleted, I will be reposting this on there website and other vendors who sell this item so people don't fall victim to such poor misinformation.

I recently purchased the Spider Farmer Controller, and I’m happy to say it works great! However, I did run into a minor issue initially when trying to connect it to my Spider Farmer SF 4000 light, which I purchased back in 2020. The controller wasn’t recognizing the light, and I wasn’t sure why. I reached out to the Spider Farmer support team at [email protected], and Hazel was incredibly helpful. She quickly identified the issue: my older version of the SF 4000 light only had an RJ11 connection, while the controller required an RJ12 cable. Without hesitation, Spider Farmer overnighted me an RJ11 cable at no additional cost, and it solved the problem perfectly. I’m really impressed with the quality of the controller and the exceptional customer service I received. Hazel and the Spider Farmer team went above and beyond to ensure everything worked smoothly. I highly recommend Spider Farmer products and their support team to anyone in the market for reliable grow equipment. Thank you, Spider Farmer!
