I really like this fountain-purchased it for our lanai in Florida. Nice color -blends with the outdoors. Easy set up -hardest thing was running a line for electricity but if you have a handy person in the family- totally doable. Put some decorative flower pots and plants around it and the lights are great at night. Not a roaring amount of water comes out but nice stream of soothing sound. When going away I put in color safe laundry bleach and when I came back the water was crystal clear and it didn’t hurt the finish. Very happy with this purchase-highly recommend if you want something decorative!

This fountain adds so much to our deck. We have had it for 5 years. I put it away in the winter and bring it out in the spring. The water is self contained and doesn’t get on the deck at all. Great value for money! It’s kinda heavy, my husband moves it.

Updating my Original Review: The fountain has been set up for just over 6 months. The colors have faded considerably and there are some chips where the surface paint has come off. The pump went out just a week ago, but the vendor (Lamps Plus) was contacted through the amazon system and immediately (I mean "immediately") sent out a replacement pump, no questions asked (except for my address, to which they no longer had access). This was exemplary service. As for the color fading, this is no worse and no better than most outdoor fountains and statuary by most manufacturers. They also use some type of acrylic paint or stain to color their outdoor statuary, and this paint always fades a bit the sun. I've had several different fountains and other garden statuary over the years and they all fade, but the point I want to make is that they do not look bad when they fade. They do lose some vibrancy, but they still look (somewhat) authentic. This fountain was a good purchase and I hope to enjoy it for many years to come. I have reduced my five-star rating to four stars based on the fading. Perhaps 4½ stars would be more accurate. Original Review: I read many reviews before ordering this fountain, and I was greatly influenced by all the bad reviews -- they said it arrived damaged; that it was hard to set-up (and that the instructions were unclear); that it leaked; and that it faded. But there were many good reviews too, and I decided to give it a chance because it looked so good in the pictures. It arrived today directly from Lamps Plus. It was delivered without the slightest damage. It was entirely intuitive to set-up so I didn't even need to look at the directions, and I think it took about a half-hour start-to-finish. (I likely could have done it faster but I was taking my time.) Everything worked just fine. The water flowed perfectly and the LED lights all worked from the get-go. There was no leakage. And it looks great! I can't address whether it will fail in a day, a week, or two years. Nor can I speak to whether the paint will fade with time. I had given some thought about spraying it with a clear coat (matte, not glossy), but I'll observe it for a while to see whether this is necessary. I've had other painted resin sculptures in the yard that have indeed faded in the sun after a few years, but the level of fading on those was only slight, so I was okay with it. We'll see on this one. A bunch of people complained about fading two years out. Maybe my review is premature, but I did not want to wait two years to write one. If anything changes, I'll update it, but for now I just wanted to say it arrived undamaged, set up was super-easy, and it works and looks great!

Five star in every regard, delivery, condition, packing, beauty, EXCEPT ease of use. Perfect if you don't mind plugging and unplugging at every time of use. Comes with a simple plug in light cord, no switch for on/off, or separate control for pump and lights. With the desire, expense, and effort, of course you can set up an automatic timer device for predicable times of use. Even then you will always have both pump and lights on at all programmed times. Ours is on a tiled lanai, and thus needs no lights during most daylight hours. After all is said and done, go for it, looks beautiful, and should probably lose one star for being well behind the technology curve.

I didn’t except this to be as beautiful as it is. The LED lights brings out the outstanding colors of the sculptured look of the three different sizes of the jars. I wish I could keep it on throughout the winter months. The only other thing is that I need to add a extra tiny water hose to allow it to keep plenty of water in the reservoir without manually watching on it. Adding this will be easy as it has access to the watering system of the flower bed. This fountain has added so much beauty to the new flower bed around my greenhouse. Thank you Amazon

Update after owning this a while. We're not yet in the heat of summer and the water basically evaporates out to the point where it wont run in 6 days. Not worth the money unless you can auto-fill it. Disappointing to say the least. Its a good looking fountain. The holding tank only holds 4 gallons. This fountain will need to be refilled every week vs every 2 weeks for the smaller one that holds closer to 7 gallons. For the size, I'd expect it to hold much more water. The base of the fountain is basically hollow with a small receptacle for the water. Another rather cheesy item is that instead of the light mounting up through the bottom in the last tub, the wire comes through the drainage hole and the light sits in the bottom. It's pretty hokey but at the end of the day it still shines bright and looks ok but it's a janky design. Overall it's not bad looking. If I could figure out how to auto-refill it then it would be great!

This item is excellent. I've had this for about three months and everything works great! Be sure to use an Algaecide. I use a product I bought in the Garden Department at Lowes. It's called Smartpond Algaecide. I use about a half cap full every couple of days. It keep the water clean and clear. No Algae. Also make certain that you check the water level every day or two and don't run the fountain during the hot and sunny part of the day.

The fountain looked and worked good for 2 years, but last week water started to disappear after just a few hours, I tipped it over and saw that the bottom of the tank had multiple fractures that were letting water drain out. Tried to epoxy it over, but did not work. The biggest problem is that the holding tank is not possible to remove from the fountain, its it fuzed permanently together and thus makes it now useless and trash worth $360. Tried to contact seller about possible solution - no reply!
