Received my fountain on Saturday and set it up without any issues at all the same day. Today is Monday and the fountain is just lovely. It is set up outside. and produces a soothing sound I've really been enjoying. My fountain is not producing any splashing. It's easy to add water. I do turn it off at night, but in the evening, with the fountain on, it's just wonderful. The light is working fine and adds a nice element. I am using it with an appropriate heavy duty extension cord and that's working just fine. I got the fountain in red and I'm really liking that it is ceramic. I can't think of anything negative to write about it. It's not a booming loud sort of fountain, but rather a gentle trickle kind of sound. So, if that's what you're looking for , you might enjoy this one. UPDATE: My fountain is still wonderful, but I do wish the pump were a little stronger. It continues to work but just seems a little more weak than when it was first plugged it. I've cleaned everything but that hasn't helped. Would love someone to recommend a step up pump. UPDATE #2:. One thing I've been doing that brings the flow back is taking a skinny bottle brush and going in from the top where the water comes out and plunging it down and pulling it out. Some debris always comes up. I do it several times, every so often. I've been leaving it on all the time lately. It's just working fine. I love it, and so does everyone else who comes in ear shot.

Very well made, heavy and deep blue color. Size is perfect for my flower bed. My only concern is the opening for the pump. There isn't any covering to close it up. The fountain will be visible from all sides, this was not shown nor disclosed in the description nor pictures. So that is why I only gave it four stars. Very easy set up and the water trickling is s so relaxing.

We’ve had this fountain for almost a year; we love it. We had one issue with it that was fully and quickly addressed by the manufacturer so kudos for top quality responsiveness and customer service. Because it is rather large the sound of the water inside the fountain was a bit harsh so we did a very cheap and simple thing to mellow it out. We put the pump in a small cheap plastic planter pot we bought at Home Depot, essentially creating a sump inside the unit, then surrounded it with bubble wrap. Now the falling water inside the foundation sounds like gentle rain and is very soothing as it falls on the bubble wrap inside the fountain, and the sump assures the pump cannot be obstructed or clogged by the wrap. The drain holes at the bottom of the plastic pot allow the water to return to the pump to provide for the continuous circulation of the water. We use distilled water in the unit which really keeps it clean and low maintenance. The fountain is beautiful to look at and listen to. Of course if you don’t mind a louder water sound you can use the fountain as supplied.

This is my second Glitzhome vase fountain. In March this year we had straight line winds come through our neighborhood and my fountain of 2 years fell over and cracked. I had emptied all the water for winter so it was not very heavy to stand up to these winds that had knocked down power lines, fences and took off roofing. I recently decided to try another brand and look for a change. After reading all the reviews it sounded good. Unfortunately it had no water sound at all so I returned it and decided to order another Glitzhome fountain which I knew had great sound, was long lasting and a beautiful color. The fountain came well packaged and was so easy to set up and after adding 2 gallons of distilled water it was off and running! This vase is a much deeper blue than my original and I love it too. I expect to have it for many years to come and this winter I will put it in a more sheltered spot on my patio. You will not be disappointed if you choose this fountain!

The fountain is beautiful; perfect for use by dragonflies, hummingbirds & birds, which is why I chose it. The pump is crap. The end casing broke a few days after the 1 month return period. So, the 2 suction legs will not stay on that end. Now, 2 months after purchase, the pump itself is about to stop working. Maybe because the broken casing allows more debris inside? It's annoying & ridiculous to have to look at a replacement pump 2 short months after purchase. I've reached out to the manufacturer, I'll add to review if they do the right thing.
