Well, this just arrived today and I'm stoked! -I immediately unboxed it and gave it quite a few swift punches! -I practice kung fu, and am interested in other martial arts and boxing as well.. it just seemed like a perfect addition to my workout room. I'm just learning speedbag, so take anything I say with a grain of salt. . . It was easy to hang. Not sure that the 5mm drill bit recommended was large enough, I think a slightly larger one could be used. The bag is hung via spring from a dual articulating arm. It's fairly sturdy, but can vibrate some. Not sure how a "pro" would rate that situation. I'm not sure if it's my novice, untrained, form or the spring, but the bag has a tendency to go side-to-side as often as forward and back. Probably mostly my form.

I was surprised how easy it was to install in my home gym. The speed bag itself is high quality and feels durable. I liked the ability to adjust the height and the fact that it did not take up a lot of space. If's a great way to build your reflex skills or hone your boxing or kicking skills. This is advertised to be used by any age but I was only able to review this as an adult. But based on the mechanics of the punching bag, it does not seem to pose any inherent danger with the ball springing back into position. For me, this is a keeper and a great addition to my home gym.

First things first, this is not a traditional speed bag. The bag itself feels like a speed bag, but the heavy spring arm (that is nearly rigid) it hangs from turns this into more of a punching balloon than anything. It kinda/sorta mimics the movement of a speed bag, but not in the traditional sense. Maybe this fills the niche spot between a traditional speed bag and a heavy bag? There are a few nice aspects of the bag itself though, it feels comfortable and durable. The material gives a soft pleather vibe and it fills up nicely with air. The adjustability is excellent. You can mount this in one location and by pivoting the two adjustable locations can easily adjust the height of the bag. The adjustability leads to it biggest downfall however, the adjustable points need to be constantly tightened, they come loose after just a few harder punches. The bag itself also needs to be tightened and screwed back in constantly, all this was determined after the FIRST session from an 11 year old boy who had never boxed a day in his life. Ultimately, this is not a speed bag and it is not punching bag. A speed bag is not attached to a rigid spring like this and a punching bag would not need to be tightened every time you hit it with any force. If this is for a little kid, under the age of 10, sure, it will probably stay right and tight for a long while. For someone who punches with force greater than that of a 10 year old, this is a pain to constantly have to tighten up. My son will use this until he either breaks it or gets tired of using it and we will likely move on from it. This simply is not what it is advertised to be and the usage should be modified for that reason.

Got this for my home gym and it is a fun addition - it is nice the way you can adjust the brackets so you can put it at whatever level you want - you can also fold it up out of the way with these brackets. Easy to setup, just put it right into a stud in my drywall.

This is a pretty simple little speed bag that’s easy to mount and set up. I am no pro boxer so I so I haven’t quite gotten the technique down yet but the swing arm on it is definitely not super long so be careful where you mount it to make sure there’s nothing that you could hit on accident, and don’t go swinging your arms around aimlessly because it’s possible you’ll clip whatever it’s mounted to. Any adult that looks to use this should probably be fine

It was easy to put together and as a beginner, fun to use. As I'm new to using a speed bag I don't have anything to compare it to, but I don't have any complaints. The entire thing attached to my wall very securely and I'm not worried at all about it flying off anywhere. I'm glad I have it now and I would recommend this to any beginners that are interested.
