Install was straight forward and easy didn't even need instructions loved the fact that it used the lower half of the factory air box to keep in place and the clips were still used. Only thing I don't like is the chrome finish. I would recommend a air filter bag since the seals don't seal perfectly

Cannot tell it’s even there until about 4K rpm then it just screams. I was drastically taken back by how loud it got over 4K rpm’s. I actually installed it on. 2017 piu 3.7 with zero issues. I only have about ten miles since the install. Take your time it’s not as straight forward as you would think. ... show more

Good fitment, like normal aftermarket stuff kinda has to finesse and fidget with it a little for good fitment but overall nothing major and didn't need modifications, the supplied thin rubber line that shields the intake pipe from chafing on the shield seems a little weak and takes some coaxing to fit but so far after 3k miles seems to be holding up still. No idea on mileage increase but makes fantastic intake noise and well worth the cost. ... show more

This intake was precision made to fit the explorer. It came with all the necessary fasteners to install. Install was a breeze, with install taking under 20 minutes from unboxing to taking the car for the first rip around the block with the new found power. You won't regret buying this one!! On the open road, people will look to see what is making all that sweet sweet induction noise, and they will be surprised that it is a explorer. Fits perfectly very easy to install. However it's a lot louder than I expected and if your trying to get better mpg as I was don't waste the money. Didn't even get 1 mpg between with a 3 week test.
