The unit is roughly twice as thick as the radiator that came with my Ford F150 but it fits nicely in the recess. I noticed some small fillings in the neck of the bottom raditor outlet so I flushed it with a water hose. The only challenge came with connecting the tranmission lines (it has a tow package also). There is no way to torque the flare nuts down (and no recommended torque settings as far as i know) so you really have to guess how much to tighten the fittings. The first time I drove the truck after installation it leaked transmission fluid out of the top fitting. After the truck cooled down, I carefully tried to tighten both the lower and upper fittings. I found that the lower fitting was able tighten about 1/8th of a turn and the top fitting about 1/2 to 3/4 turn before comming to a stop. I was careful not to crank on the fittings, just gently hand-tighten with thumb and forefinger on the wrench. Then I cleaned everything with Gunk (so that I could tell if it was still losing fluid). No leaks. I still keep checking the fitting and all other connections when I gas up, but everything appears ok now. I have been driving the truck for about 3 months now without any problems. ... show more

Okay made in China. Seems like OEM quality in every way, fittings, materials and everything matched up perfectly. Time will tell. It’s been in the truck for three days. No leaks so far. Hopefully this will be a 20% product because the other 80% of the stuff coming out of China is pure crap that looks EOM and lasts about 1/7th the lifespan. I found this radiator to to be in perfect condition and identical in design to OEM radiator in every way that matters. It appeared to me to be built to meet or exceed OEM standards. I was surprised by an earlier reviewer's description of inferior packaging culminating in delivery and installation of a damaged radiator into his vehicle. I can only speak based on my own experience and based solely on that I felt this seller had gone to some length to assure the radiator was delivered in the same condition it was in when it was shipped. It was double box with high-grade cardboard and quality foam corner/edge protectors. Not only was the radiator in perfect condition but due to the way it was packaged the inner box that contained the radiator itself arrived in pristine condition. Be that as it may, if such a product as this purchased through Amazon were to arrive in damaged or suspect condition I would simply notify Amazon and they would make it right... end of story. Instead the earlier reviewer removed the suspect radiator from it's damaged packaging, installed it in his vehicle, charged the cooling system after which he observed the radiator to be leaking... allegedly due to shipping damage. How unfortunate for him. Contrasting that to my own experience, regarding the quality of the product itself, the cost, and yes even the packaging I feel you can't go wrong buying this radiator from this seller on Amazon. ... show more

It was the perfect replacement for my stock radiator. I had no issues with it whatsoever. I’ve been running it for the last couple of months and it’s doing great.
