My father recently passed and we brought mom home to live with us. As we prep her room she has been staying in a room that has no heat source (8' x 20')... in the middle of winter. This will be the sixth heater we have tried. Some didn't have enough heat, some not enough circulation of the heat, others were not consistent in output (widely ranging temperatures in the room) and some were just plain ugly. I am happy to say that I think we have found our solution. My mom is 89 years old and need the room warm (75-77 degrees) which can be hard in January/February with snow and ice on the ground. Furthermore, this room is concrete slab on grade (which is frozen) and exposed on three sides with a large bay window on one wall. This heater has no problem meeting the demand. The ceramic heaters were cute but inconsistent. This heater better looking than the normal oil based space heater and it also keeps the room very even in temperature with only a one degree variance overnight. It fluctuates a little more during the day but that is because of opening and shutting the door. We have two other oil based heaters but reading the display is almost impossible (LCD) and programming it is a through pain in the neck. This heater has a clear display (LED), big numbers, and is easy to program. To help with circulation we did place a small desk fan beside it to move the air a little more. We could not be happier... well, possibly if someone invented a oil based heater that looked like a fireplace and included a small circulation fan we could be happier.

We ordered 8 of these space heaters for an old farmhouse we are currently remodeling. We wanted to create zone heating in the farmhouse by putting a heater in each room and use them in combination with 2 LP gas heaters. The space heaters arrived safe and sound. We unpacked them, attached the wheels, no tools needed, very easy. Set the temperature at 72 degrees on the Econo mode, with the remote. The heaters started heating right away. The heaters make sounds (quiet, not loud), when you first turn them on, but otherwise, they are quiet. So far, we are very happy with the results. The farmhouse is warm and it is a constant heat. We also tried the heaters in our own house, and we are quite pleased with the results. The house is toasty warm. Also, the heaters have a very updated, modern look. See the 2 pics. The remote is probably my favorite, increase or decrease the temp, or turn the unit off, all right from my chair!! If you are looking to add additional heat or provide the only heat source for a room or given area, give these a try. I think you will be as pleased, as we are!! Thank you KopBeau!!

What I like about the heater: It doesn't blow out heated air which makes your skin dry and itchy, but warms up the room slowly, in all directions. Comparatively, the air feels warm far above the heater. The buttons and screen are easily comprehensible for my grandma. I like that I can change the temperature by 1 degree increment. Also, the base feels stable and the wheels are a great help. What I don't like about the heater: I saw from other reviews that their products come with a remote controller, but mine came without it. I wonder if it's a mistake in packaging? It warms up the space quite slowly (reasonable though). It claims that it warms up the entire room, but it still feels cold 6 feet away from it. (That's my opinion. We're keeping it cause my grandma would give a good review in terms of this.) The middle and low level of heating feels a little unnecessary for me.

The heater is nice looking. Seems to work fine but too warm today to test it out. The only issue I had is the heater box was damaged and one of the heater's decorative fins was dented. Pushed in at least an inch. It was double boxed with an amazon box so it was probably shipped with a hole in the side of the product packaging. The amazon box was oversized and there was no padded packaging inside to take up the extra space. The heater bounced around inside. There was at least 6 to 8 inches of air space inside the amazon box. I was able to straighten out the bent fine. There is a slight wave in the fin but no paint was removed. My point is they should have packaged it better before shipping it. Not sure if UPS damaged it or it was shipped damaged.

Beginning with my negatives... When I first received the product, it was not releasing very much heat, there was a weird chemical odor coming out of it while on, and it would often make a crackling/popping noise. I decided to contact be seller and request a replacement, considering previous buyers had mentioned that those issues were not normal. I just recently received the replacement and already I can tell the difference. The heat output is awesome and the remote is a huge bonus. It is very quiet (you couldn’t tell it was on unless you looked at the screen or felt the heat), and there is no more chemical odor emitting from it. I am impressed with this product, especially since this was a Christmas gift for my parents. They are happy, and that’s all that matters to me. I would recommend this to others!

I read a fair number of Amazon reviews regarding this heater and others before I purchased this space heater. I have significant asthma-related allergies, and I was concerned about the possibility that this heater would produce an odor as had been noted in reviews of other heaters. I had nothing to worry about. There is absolutely no odor. Additionally, the heater serves my purposes quite well, which may be more limited than others. I use it primarily to heat my bathroom before I take a shower. I think it is important to note that it does not have a fan. It heats through convection. This means, even in my bathroom, which is small, it takes about 20 minutes to heat this area. I suspect it would take significantly longer to heat moderate or large spaces. However, given that it functions so well in my bathroom, I believe it would function well in other areas. The instructions are easy to read, and it is easy to move. I really like this product.
