This kit is perfect for starting your sourdough journey! Everything is the perfect size for a basic start and everything has a purpose making it very functional. Everything seems super sturdy and made of quality materials, especially the bread baskets. I found that some are not very sturdy and cheaply made but these ones are great and they are perfect for when your day was resting! It also doesn't come with that chemically smell that you get from a lot of things it feels like it came from a family shop, but perfectly packaged to ship from afar. I love the stencils they will give a perfect design on your dough. It comes with more than the basics it comes with a scoring knife, two bread baskets, a sifter for flour, a rubber brush, a bread whisk, a brush, two small jars, a metal and rubber scraper and quite a bit more. It's a fantastic value for your money at $30! There's no need to pay $40 for the one with the jar, you can get a jar affordably at Walmart or Dollar tree! I absolutely recommend this kit it has so much stuff for the price compared to others I have seen!

As a first time starter, or I'm at least attempting to try sourdough, when I opened this box, I felt like a kid at Christmas with all the stuff that was in it. This is PERFECT for someone starting out. Comes with everything you need. It becomes an addiction and you will be searching for more batons and cool stencils. For the blade tho, was a little confusing. I still don't know how to put it on the little handle thingy there. Idk what's called. I ended up cutting my fingers up trying to put it on. The little leather pocket it comes with ain't no help. But all in all, I would definitely buy this again or buy for someone as a gift.

All the tools you need to make sourdough. I’ve used them all for 3 months and they are all still in great shape. Sourdough is a hard thing to clean off if anything so I put it in warm soapy water and it comes clean very easy. The bread bags keep my bread from going stale so fast. The dough wisk makes it a little easier than using a spoon.
