The bannetons are well constructed and the fabric liners fit well; they aren’t too tight or hard to fit in the basket like some liners are. Everything came in a plastic bag that has a zipper top - kind of like the type that sheet sets come in, but it’s softer and more flexible - and while the bag was probably supposed to be disposable, it is actually very handy because I store the baskets with the liners in it and it keeps them together and protected when I am not using them. I can also keep my cabinet free of the rice flour that I use to dust my sourdough boules so they don’t stick between uses since the baskets are in a bag that is perfectly shaped. In the past, I’ve had to wrap my baskets in plastic bags like the ones you get from the grocery store, and this is a big improvement. If your recipe calls for 500 grams of flour, you might be better off selecting an 8” banneton set because this feels a little large for my regular dough recipe, but it’s still a great set. ... show more

I Love these bowls. I now consider them a require When making Sourdough. They give your bread that cute swirl and result in a beautiful loaf. I have used them on the counter when letting my bread rise and in the fridge for cold ferment. Be sure to rub them with rice flour before your first use.
