The only tool needed is a cross-head screwdriver. The box feels solid and the finish is good. It has the right size and can easily fit under driver's seat for my ccw. I was impressed with the size. I put my Ruger SR9 and 5 extra magazines into it. The top of the case overlaps the bottom making a strong safe. I did have a little trouble programing my code into the safe. It took several trys. Note also the keys and batteries are taped on the bottom of the foam packing. It took a moment to find. I like the two supplied keys. They are unusual and very easy to slip into the lock. I've got three other small gun safes and for the price this is the best. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This safe worked great for about 5 months. Now the motor makes a loud grinding noise and opens sometimes when I use my code. I don't open this everyday (maybe once or twice a month). For the price I guess I can use the key to unlock. Reached out to seller 3 weeks ago with no response.
