I’ve been wanting to start a new hobby, and I’ve always wanted to play the guitar and never have had any experience with it. Most musicians say starting with a ukulele is the best way to learn the basics and fundamentals. This ukulele is the coolest thing ever! The ukulele shipped fast and it was also very well packaged and protected inside of a well fitted box. when you open the ukulele box, you find that you will have the ukulele you’ll have a travel case/protector over the ukulele. I could go on and on about how cool this little instrument is but I put some photos up for you to take a look at it and just check it out. It’s so cool and it’s just a pretty looking instrument. It’s well-made. It’s very fine crafted and you can tell. There’s a lot of detail and quality work that went into it. I really like that it came with its own travel case that can also be used like a protector. I really like that they made this in black matte and the whole instruments in black matte with some white but it’s the most coolest color on an instrument! I really like the strap that comes with the ukulele. Also, it’s very unique and mine has some cool color accents on it. You use this strap to hook onto the ukulele that goes over your shoulder or arm, and it helps you hold onto your instrument. I’m so happy and I really like that they included a beginner starter book for this soprano ukulele. this book tells you how to first tune your ukulele, and also teaches you some starter string cords and how to play your first few songs. It’s very neat. I really like that they included some ukulele pics, a full set of replacement ukulele strings, and tool used to replace them if needed. I think being a beginner, this is definitely you hope to find in a package when starting something new. I really like that this whole package comes with all the basics and starter information that you need to become successful when wanting to play the ukulele. I really like that included with this ukulele is a mini tuner that serves to help with keeping your ukulele in pitch and in the right key. It’s super cool! It comes with the battery it needs and you put it on the end of your ukulele and start plucking the cords, and it’ll tell you which ones are in key and which ones are out and you’re able to tune it to make it in key. Overall, I have to say I’m very impressed with this ukulele and everything that came with it. The price point that this ukulele is at for a full beginner starter kit with all accessories, I think it’s a very good deal! Especially from all the products and the quality of all the products included being very great! I think it’s a fantastic deal compared to just buying a ukulele by itself. I have no complaints or no concerns, no cons, or nothing wrong and nothing to complain about with this ukulele and everything included with it, it’s fantastic nothing but compliments and praise as it’s an awesome package! Overall, I have to say I’m impressed by this ukulele and all the products that were included with this ukulele. The manufacturer and company really put in a lot of hard work to put these together. They look very well packaged, designed, and well thought out when it comes to building a starter kit for a beginner. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Especially someone wanting to learn fundamentals and basics of an instrument, it’s also something cool to have around the house, and it’s a good way to bond and share time with some friends. I originally thought this might be fun for my wife, who has her own Ukulele, as maybe a backup, or one for home/one for school/etc. But when it arrived, I thought that maybe I might like to mess around with it too. To really set the scene, I've got big hands, and have never been able to play ANYTHING with strings in my life. Unless you count piano I guess, but never anything where you pluck/strum the strings directly. I'm not sure what I expected since my hands have never really liked to move that way in the past, but I was determined. I'd pull this guy out for a few minutes every few days, occasionally fall off for awhile before coming back, and this old dog has at least slightly learned a new trick. I can remember how to play a couple of chords, which gets me most of the way through a whole lot of songs that use those same few chords, and a couple of the chords I can even go through pretty quickly from memory :D That's really all because of this set. It comes with everything a beginner like me would need to get started. The Ukulele of course, a digital tuner (I'll get more into that in a bit), a strap, 3 picks, some extra strings, a beginner's guide, and a case to hold everything all together. The Ukulele looks great, it has a very distinctive style. The beginner's guide goes through everything you'd need to get started pretty much from scratch. It does warn that it WILL go out of tune frequently for awhile before the strings really figure themselves out, and oh boy does it. If you leave it in the case for even what seems like more than a couple of minutes, you'll need to retune it. That said, tuning is VERY easy, the included digital tuner does most of the heavy lifting, you just need to pluck until the tuner turns green. It can figure out which string you're tuning and make sure you're getting it to the right pitch. I used the beginner guide to learn the basics, and start to learn some chords. It has a whole section of how to play the various chords, my biggest problem is, well, my big hands that just plain don't want to move the way they need to for some of those chords, but it explains everything in a way that is easy to understand, so I'm sure that it would work great for other beginners. This is great set for beginners, or someone who really wants to get started with the Ukulele. It might be a gateway set, and one that you'll ultimately upgrade from if you decide you want to keep playing, but for the price, this is a wonderful point of entry if you're interested.
