The media could not be loaded. I'm a performing musician who's collected, sold and traded dozens of ukuleles. @uke4peace @oleha.music I've taken the time to play this uke over a couple weeks because ukuleles need time to break in. This is the lowest priced uke I have ever played… and I am impressed! I was expecting a cheap sound but the tonal quality is very good for the price point, and overall with all the accessories included, this is an excellent budget buy for somebody that is a beginner or needs a beater / travel uke. Is it the best sounding soprano ukulele I have ever played? Nope. But it still sounds pretty good to me for the price. The tone is surprisingly warm and deep, with good projection and sustain. The action at the 12 fret, which is how high the strings are above the fretboard, is a comfortable 2.5mm out of the box, which is a height preferred by experienced ukulele players. The intonation is impressively accurate down to the 12th fret. Soprano ukuleles are notorious for sounding off key when you go up the fretboard, but this uke nails it. Definitely not what I was expecting here - ukes that are hundreds of dollars more expensive can have off action and intonation. In terms of build quality, it gets the job done. There's nothing super fancy here. The tuners work ok, but for some reason the E string keeps going flat the next day. Not sure if it's a string or tuner issue but it does stay in tune while you play, and that's what matters. Frets were all level except for the 11th one which was a little high, but most beginners probably won't notice or play that high. The finish feels… like paint? It's smooth and matte like. Not my preference but others might be cool with it. Accessory wise, the strap it comes with looks cool and is decent quality. The bead shaker isn't as impressive sounding as the uke but it is fun that they include one. Overall, this uke sounds good, plays well, looks fun and is an excellent value.

Bought this ukulele to be used as a small guitar for our 2 1/2 year-old grandson it came in a very nice box with several pics and a strap for carrying a cloth bag to store the ukulele and it was very very cute and he adores it. It was packaged nicely. It was not damaged at all when we received it.

The media could not be loaded. I bought both a blue Vanphy and a pink Donner brand ukulele. I found the Vanphy a superior quality,sound,and build. The Vanphy gear heads are firm and easy to tune and I don't often have to adjust vs the Donner gears that are loose and wobbly on 2pegs making tuning hard or needed daily. The strap on the Vanphy is connected by a small screw so it stays put vs the Donner that slips on the sound hole and often falls off irritating my child (she stopped trying to use it ). The Vanphy strings are secured well vs the Donner that looks less superior. The Vanphy paint job is a flat finish vs the Donner with a gloss finish.
