I was looking for an aesthetic, black accent for a very long time. I was drawn by the pattern and color of it from the photos that were posted. It's a subtle color with black but the pattern is very ancient and elegant. I spent little time deciding on this purchase, and I'm super glad that I made this purchase. It's looks stunning, lots of storage, and super easy to install. Although the instruction said it needed 2 to get the job done, I did it all by myself within 2 hrs.

It arrive in a box. Took my husband 3 hours to put together by himself. Could not get doors straight, do there is a gap when the cabinets is closed and is a little wider at the top. Tried working with door hinges, but to no avail. It is very light and unfinished wood color. Guess you could stain it if you wanted and polyurethane it. It is pretty and does not take up a lot of space, but it is VERY OVERPRICED, IMO. HAVE SEEN THEM OTHER PLACES FOR ALMOST HALF YHE PRICE and it took forever to get here. It is nice to put a few things in, snacks, pot holders, mail , tv controller, few candles , odds and ends. Not sure if would hold a lot of cammed goods on top shelf bet could put extra kitchen items in there or min mac's between seasonal decorations. I am happy with it, but took time, too much money and lighter and not as finished as I thought it would be. Personal preference..

Assembly is extremely difficult. Pine and composite board do not hold screws and bolts. Can’t make plumb and cabinet wobbles. Item is described as distressed, but cabinet top has gouges in wood - certainly more than distressed.

The media could not be loaded. This storage cabinet is very sturdy. The door frame is made of wood, while the middle part is an iron door. I use it to store some food. It has a large space and is not difficult to install. I like it

I dont Even know where to start, there were so many things wrong with this. Upon opening, the feet looked gross , not antiqued but as if some type of liquid was added to remove part of the paint, which it did, poorly I might Add, and also left staining around the area where the paint was removed. The product is repeatedly described as hand made, but the side panels are antiqued in a grid type fashion which doesn’t look natural or handmade at all. The top is roughly etched and has many splinters in it. All of these things I could’ve overlooked as the front is very pretty. But then we get to the doors … I have Put together endless types of furniture in my life, I’ve always been good at it , to the point that I’m the one people who know me go to for help putting stuff together. These doors simply won’t line up. I’ve tried everything, adjusting the feet every which way to no avail. The left door simply sits too high and buts up against the top , rubbing each time you open and close it. You can clearly see how crooked it is from across the room as well. Oh and btw, you need a drill to put the backing on. This was not suggested prior to purchase. So now we had to go buy a drill just to put this together. Otherwise putting it together was a breeze , but getting it even was impossible. As if all this wasn’t bad enough, whoever drilled the hole for the handles did so on an angle which 1) makes it so the handle will not catch properly on the screw, and 2) makes it so one handle is drastically higher than the other. So I had This lopsided thing staring at me, until the inevitable happened, between the door being too high and the handle being at an angle , the handle popped right off . I just Moved and missed the return date so I’m stuck with this piece of crooked nonsense. I’ll have to drill a new hole for the handle , get wood glue to undoubtedly fix the piece that will fall off when I do This and hope to hell it holds it together. I’m sorry but for over $200 I find All these things extremely unacceptable . I cant Believe how great all the reviews are. Did I just Get a dud? I find It hard to accept that so many things could all be wrong with just mine . Even if it wasn’t passed the return window , it would be a tremendous pain for me to try to return as it’s quite large. It’s a shame because the basic design and color is very nice, but every time I look At it I get Mad . Definitely an OCD trigger to have all these things off the way they are. To make matters worse , they consistently try to reassure you that it’s ok to be crooked , like they know it will be , but no matter what you do it stays crooked. It’s like adding insult to injury the way the manual is. If I took Off a star for every thing wrong it would be negative stars, but I won’t do that , I will give it 2 stars for how pretty it could be if not for all these issues.

When reading the reviews on this cabinet I noticed several mentioned how difficult it was to put it together and was missing some of the hardware. This was not my experience. It called for 2 people to assemble but I put it together myself. Once completed I was very satisfied with the quality and the appearance.
