At first, when I unpacked the parts, I thought it was a little flimsy. Once it was together, it was not the case. This is vary sturdy. I added a wire shelving unit to one side. This is a great storage unit. It took about 90 minutes to unpack and assemble from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this storage unit for inside. Probably will not take a lot of abuse. This took me solo a bit under 2 hours to assemble (and that is with a toddler "helping"). The assembly instructions are very descriptive and easy to follow. Appearance wise the cabinet looks great. It is not very sturdy- as in you can feel the door shake a bit when it detaches from the magnet upon opening. Definitely easy to tip so will be securing when we move it to its final home. It comes with a securing set. Pros- great instructions, able to assemble with one person, good appearance. Cons- not super sturdy. Do not over tighten screws as the wood will split. Had one little split when I fist began. Giving it 5 stars as for the price it seems to be good quality. ... show more

We are very happy with these. Purchased 3 of them on Prime day at a nice price and have them set up in our basement for extra storage. Pantry, food, cleaning supplies, paper products, misc. They hold quite a bit and it has given us some great storage. They look nice. These use very thin materials and are not very sturdy, but they are fine for what they are. You have to be gentle with them and they'll be fine. I'm not sure I'd put these in a heavy use part of the house or in a kids playroom. They'd probably rip the doors right off. The shelves are sturdy though. It's just the doors and sides that are thin. Assembly was straight forward. I'd consider getting more if they pop up again around $100. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for a heavier duty version with thicker materials. ... show more

    • Good quality & easy to assemble
I got this yesterday and it took about 1.5 hours to assemble it. The assembly manual was easy to follow. The quality is good. It was wobbly without the shelves. Once I put shelves and put stuff on them, it was not wobbly. The color is more like beige, not white though.

I bought 2 of these and my brother put them together in about an hour. They look nice. However, the woods is very thin and feels flimsy. I don't know how long they will last, but they do offer the storage I need. One cabinet was missing a shelf when it was assembled.

After reading TONS of reviews for many different cabinets I decided on this cabinet. I purchased this cabinet to use as a pantry in my kitchen, as the apartment I just moved into does not have a built-in pantry. The package arrived on the delivery date expected and the box had a little bit of normal wear and tear from shipping, but nothing major. I was able to meet the Amazon delivery driver at my front door and he placed the box inside my home for me (it’s heavy). All of the pieces (the contents of the box) were wrapped and secure, I didn’t receive any damaged pieces and I had every piece of hardware included. I also did receive an instruction booklet. My only complaint is that I did have to go to Home Depot and purchase a package of screws. One screw included with my hardware was defective, but I do not find this to be the fault of the seller. I am a female in my late 30’s and I was able to build this cabinet by myself using a screwdriver. I only needed help installing the right cabinet door, as I was not able to hold the door up and tighten the screws with my left hand (I was able to install the left side door by myself). I found the instructions easy to follow and I did not have to go back and correct any mistakes. Just make sure to take your time and follow the instructions carefully, being sure your boards are facing the correct way and you are using the correct hardware pieces. First, here’s what I like about these cabinets: They’re super easy to assemble. Well, that is compared to some products like this that I’ve assembled. The parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were complete and easy to understand (and in English). No boo-boos on the first one – I ordered two of them – and the second one went together even more quickly. They look nice. The molding trim on the doors gives them more of a custom look than your average white, assembled, particle board cabinet. The handles are a brushed-chrome finish and the hinges are heavy duty as well. It was well packaged. Both boxes arrived undamaged and the contents were in perfect condition. Now, their shortcomings: Every piece of Sauder Furniture I’ve ever assembled (and that’s a bunch of ‘em) has been made of ¾ inch particle board. This one is NOT, it’s much thinner! It’s more like 3/8 inch. Really. Some pieces bend when you push on them. That is both good and bad. It makes the cabinet not so heavy to handle and assemble (two people can easily lift it, or maybe one strong person). But it’s NOT HEAVY DUTY. That’s clearly stated in the description, if you read it carefully. They say the weight limit for the upper shelves in 25 lbs and the bottom shelf 50 lbs. I would not, under any circumstances, put that much weight on every shelf because I'd be afraid of sagging. Maybe half that, but then I’m careful. I knew this and I need it for storing lightweight items, so it suited my purposes. But don’t go thinking that you’re going to stock this baby with gallons of paint. Please. So, for me it worked fine. It has a strap you can screw the top to the wall with, and I recommend that you use it, because it could tip over. I will keep you updated if it fails to hold up in the long run. As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me -- especially when I can't actually see, touch or hold the product. I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I'll tell you - and if it's great or mediocre, I'll tell you that, too.
