I am pleased with this purchase. It took me about 40 minutes to have it fully assembled. That is from the time I opened the box, unpacked everything and reviewed the instructions. There is no hardware or tools needed to put this cabinet together. I did take the advice of another reviewer and had a rubber mallet handy but it was not needed. All pieces snapped into place securely. I have it located in an enclosed outdoor area and therefore rainfall is not an issue for my use purposes It is not air tight and if it is put in a location where it endures heavy rainfall it might take in some water. That being said, for the most part, it is satisfactorily sealed. I will be buying a second one.

Fit and Finish is good, no large cracks and plenty of shelves! I used the bottom shelve on the bottom of the cabinet because I needed the clearance between the shelves! All Good No Issues!

Good storage unit for now but manufacturing packaging

It's great to store anything making it verse and setting it up was easy except for the two parts where you can put a lock on the storage doors. Well, I was given two M's, instead of L AND M, it is closing but the locking part is not functional because they are misaligned due to being the wrong part. Its light seems sturdy, manufacturers need to make sure that the correct parts are in the box. As seen in the picture both handles suppose to be facing down but one is facing up due to being wrong handle .

I've had one of these before. Couldn't take it when I moved, but worked great so I bought another one. Use it in the kitchen as a pantry. I'll probably buy decorative shelf paper to dress it up a little on the outside like before. Shelves will bow a little with heavier weights, but I just don't store excessively heavy stuff anywhere but in the bottom. I'm female, 65 yo and put it together in less than a half hour. Everything snaps together so you don't need tools. Really appreciate that. Everything is marked and instructions were easy to follow. Just make sure all your rounded corners are matched with rounded corners and right angles with right angles. And ensure each piece is snapped into the adjoining one. If you have difficulty getting pieces to snap in all the way, I used a hammer wrapped in a towel and gentle taps. For the top piece I laid the cabinet down. Could've used step ladder, too. Had a few weird pieces of plastic sticking out here and there that I suspect were left over from the manufacturing process so I cut them off. First one I had didn't have them. I'd say quality had dropped a wee bit from the one ten or so years ago, but still more than adequate for the price point. I prefer the plastic to metal because I can't stand the sound of metal clanking. Easy to clean and won't rust. Weighs about 40 pounds, delivered at front door of building and I just put box on the side and slid it on the floor to my apartment. I wouldn't recommend for storing tools or cans of paint, but for lighter weight objects, it's fine. When I store food cans, I put them on the sides and put lighter stuff in the middle of the shelf to prevent excessive sagging. Only thing I can say is I wish it came with another shelf. Might figure out a way to make one out of card and foam board. I'd rate it a solid 4-5 so I went with 5. Oh, and it's dark gray, not black and had no odor.

Putting it Together is as Easy as 1 2 3

Hello Amazon Shoppers, I have always had a 'comprehension' problem since I was a very young child. Because of that fact, I had/still have a temper (because I become unglued if I just don't get it after trying and trying and trying). I'm 65 years old now, and still exhibit those temper tantrums when I can't comprehend something...the only good thing is I can better control myself longer before I blow! Why am I telling you this? I'm no good at putting something together when it has instructions written to where I cannot understand them (that's nearly 99% of instructions). I was going to pay someone to put this together for me because I just knew I was going to experience a melt down trying to put it together myself. I was wrong! It took me 4 hours to do, it had simple 'pictured' instructions, and it came out perfect! Now, I know any of you would have it together in 30 minutes, but I'm talking about me, Ha ha! I simply enjoy this little tall storage cabinet. I really fell in love with it when I put it together all by myself. I'm proud of myself. And I did not experience any anger issues, nor did I have a temper tantrum. Ask anybody I know...They will tell you I don't do well at all with instructions! I can't wait to brag to tell everyone I did it all by myself! These instructions were a delight. Thank you, Sterlite, for thinking of me when you invented this cabinet 'and' the simple 1 2 3 instructions. I guarantee you'll enjoy this cabinet. And, yes, it will last many, many years. It's well worth the monetary investment.

Not the Sturdiest, but Worth the Price

The cabinet is easy to assemble and looks great, although I admit it looks a bit cheaper than I expected aesthetically. The material doesn’t seem very strong, so I decided to place heavier items like tools toward the bottom and avoided putting heavy things in the middle of the shelves to prevent them from bending over time. I recommend it for items that aren’t too heavy. For the price, I think it’s not bad at all. It was the most affordable option we found and it did the job. We did see sturdier options, but they were more expensive, so if this one is a bit thinner for a lower price, I can’t really complain. In terms of space, it’s quite roomy, and you can adjust the shelves to your liking.
