I was happy with the price and aesthetic of this table from the word go-- I wanted something with a bit of architectural interest that would match my other black/brown furniture and this was the most affordable option. The first table I received had several points of damage on the box, which I documented before I moved it into my home. When I opened it, everything appeared well protected, so I proceeded with building it as I don't have enough space in my home to unpack all the parts and inspect them thoroughly without putting it together, and when I flipped it up, discovered a very distinct albeit slim crack in the surface. Very disappointing! I live in a third floor walkup and the box weighs over 60 awkward pounds, there's no way I want to negotiate returning it. However I messaged the seller, who upon being provided pictures of the defect, immediately issued a replacement table, without having to return the damaged one. It was on my doorstep in less than a week, and the replacement is flawless. Of course I still have to figure out what to do with the cracked table, hopefully in a way that doesn't involve hauling it down the stairs personally, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. It's a great looking table, very solid (over 60 lbs!), and only 12 fasteners to assemble. Very straightforward. Can recommend. ... show more

The table is beautiful as expected. The top is much darker than the picture, but I am not upset about that. However, there are nicks around the edge of the table top. Also in one section the edge is slightly rounded rather than the sharp edge on the rest of the top. It is definitely not perfect, thus the 3 stars. I do think it is overpriced. ... show more

So as many people said, a minor bump, a pressed spot on the edge of the table, not worth sending it back, tried to flatten it as much as possible. It's a little annoying but still a great table. One spot on the leg that is missing paint, easy to fix. So I would buy it again and have recommended it to family. So def worth the money. ... show more
