I purchased the set from Amazon and have had it almost a year. The delivery guys missed one of the legs in the packaging and must have taken it with them. As I couldn’t locate it. It was not needed because I was wallhanging the set anyway. I use my tv for streaming, gaming (PlayStation 3-5) and Blu-ray movies. It’s not the best tv I’ve ever seen, but for its price it’s a very solid, respectable unit from one of my preferred manufacturers. It interfaces very well with my Denon surround sound and PlayStations. Automatically switching the input to the device when it powers on. If I were to do it again, I’d buy it again. Purchased because I have always invested in LG but after my 5 year old 55” LG suddenly started dropping all the LED magnifiers inside, (lost it’s adhesion) I thought it was time to upgrade and go with a well known and high end brand that hopefully will not come unstuck! Positives 1. Great picture and sound. 2. Lots and lots to setup and organise. 3. Easy to navigate with the remote. Negatives 1. Followed all advice but had to give up attempting to receive an audio signal via ARC, even when connecting to the same brand, a Sony Entertainment center! Optical cable worked fine. 2. Would like to have seen more than one position for the feet. 3. Important to reaslise that unless your live TV service is or box set is not receiving 4k quality signal, your picture will not look anything like High Definition. It’s fine not a big deal, just watch lots of Blu-ray! Will add to the post if I find anything missed or to be discovered. ... show more

I was incredibly nervous for the delivery of this high-priced, fragile, in-demand, top-tech TV being shipped with Amazon. But do not fear as everything went smoothly. Two delivery guys deliver the TV to the inside of my entryway. Unboxing the TV took some time as I was afraid of damaging any components. I highly suggest reading the instruction for the TV mounts as there are 2 different types of screws! The TV has great picture for watching shows/movies! Build quality on the TV is great ( The frame is metal) and is a lot heavier than it looks.Overall, great experience buying the TV from Amazon. It was easy to schedule delivery. Excellent overall experience but for the money it misses the mark. I bought the 65”. I feel that for the money that I paid it should have come with the antireflective coating and the backlit remote control. The picture quality is darn near perfect but it has some obvious blooming issues. I also have a Samsung Q9FN but it too has blooming issues. Right now the only way to get around the issue is to get an OLED TV or wait for a MiniLED. I expect that when Sony does do MiniLED it will be the one to beat. For now thought I enjoy the picture quality of this TV immensely. When watch a movie or OTA TV the blooming issue is not apparent. It only becomes an issue when captions are displayed ... show more

Upgraded from a Sony X850e that always suffered with HDR, it never got bright enough so I just disabled the HDR and just used it as a regular HD display. The X95J is very bright and HDR and Dolby Vision looks incredible. I wall mounted it so definitely need 2 people because it is pretty heavy and need a heavy duty mount as well. The remote feels a bit plastic-y and hollow which I wouldn't expect as my previous tv's remote had a better feel in my hand. ... show more

I’ll keep this short, sweet and to the point. I upgraded my old 2011 lcd tv to this and I am not disappointed. The brightness, contrast, colors and motion flow are superb. Excellent for 4k movies, gaming or just streaming Netflix. I’m happy I chose this over OLED. (Was deciding between the two) Contrast wise it is just as good as a OLED, but it blows OLED out of the water for everything else including the price. Kinda bummed was hoping that this new Tv would last longer than 25 days. Contacted Sony about a replacement. Waiting to hear back from Sony??? ..... Waiting for weeks now and no replacement. Seriously dont buy this tv. Looks like i will be giong down to Costco or Best Buy and purchase a replacement that is NOT a Sony. Thumbs down on Sony. It has take three weeks to get the replacement. Hoping it lasts . Ore than 25days. To top it all off and like it just couldn't get any better... The price has droped in two and a half months by more than 800.00 dollars.. whew its like i have been robbed. ... show more
