  • Sony does it again - AWESOME
I love this TV...then again, I've pretty much loved every Sony TV that I've ever owned. :) The picture quality is just mind-blowingly good. When I first turned on the TV to set things up, it opened with a burst of bright colors that made me go, "WOW...Oh my GOD, that's beautiful!" After watching the TV for a bit, I told a friend of mine, "This TV is just AWESOME...It's so awesome, I thought I might have an orgasm from watching it." :) Settings are infinitely adjustable - I recommend looking at reviews of the TV for recommended settings, but in the end, just go with what makes the picture/sound the way you want it. The Acoustic Multi-Audio is a definite noticeable improvement in sound quality over previous years' models. I'm no fan of Google, but I have to admit that the Google TV interface works very smoothly and easily. And the TV is pre-loaded with virtually every imaginable app such as Amazon Prime Video, YouTube TV, Hulu, etc. I read some reviews of this TV that said there were problems with streaming - and I was concerned about that because streaming is how I get all my programming now. But I don't see any streaming issues at all - super smooth. I think that perhaps for people who had problems with streaming, the problem may have been with their internet service rather than with the TV. It's nice and easy that the table top stand "feet" just snap into place - you don't have to insert screws or anything - just slide them into the slots and they lock in. My only complaint - and I can't believe Sony still hasn't done anything about this, since customers and reviewers have been complaining about it, in regard to every Sony TV, for years: the fact that the remote control doesn't light up. It's an aggravation when you're watching TV in the dark late at night, and you have to turn a light on in order to be able to see what you're doing with the remote. ... show more

  • Sony is my amazing hdtv again
Well, I wanted to give the Sony brand one more chance because I had already been disappointed with a 43 and 50 inch. It didn't meet my expectations and I ended up giving one to my niece and another to my mother... I had a Samsung, but it also began to decline, so I looked for LG MODEL 1... and I'm not thrilled, after a week of searching I found the simple xr-80j series and saw how great it looked, but it came with half good and a piece not very good... I return it, but this time I went higher. The model (Sony X90J 50 Inch TV: BRAVIA XR Full Array LED 4K Ultra HD Smart Google TV with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos with IMAX Enlaced)... WAOOOOOOO that incredible hdtv seems to be made to measure for me. Incredible vision XR Triluminus, it is as if it touched the articles, the spectacular sound 4 speakers (2 woofers, 2 tweeters). But I went further and connected a Sony 4K UBP-X800M2 Ultra HD Blu-ray player with Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® , for 4k vision ...for Audio I went High End with Klipsch Cinema 600 Powered 3.1-channel sound bar /sub system with Bluetooth® with speakers surround sound brand Klipsch Surround 3 Surround speaker kit for compatible Klipsch sound bars. but not satisfied with that I added an additional ingredient that knocked the house down with this the powerful Klipsch R-12SW Powerful Deep Bass Front Firing 12" Copper-Spun Driver 400W Digital Power Subwoofer of course with subwoofer cable from an excellent brand like (SVS SoundPath RCA Audio Interconnect Cable for Subwoofers) and for viewing in dolby vision, I couldn't use a high quality 2 cable to give me the perfect view (Monster 8K HDMI Cable Ultra High-Speed Cobalt 2.1 Cable - 48Gbps with eARC, 8K at 60Hz for Superior Video and Sound Quality) and for my additional ultra hd blue ray ,Monster HDMI 4K HDMI Ultra High-Speed Rose Gold 2.1 Cable – 21 Gbps, 4K at 60Hz for Superior Video and Sound Once I had everything bought and together believe me my friends is extremely an incredible home theater with a combined power of almost 1,000 watts between the sound bar and the 400 watt subwoofer and the quality of vision and audio from SONY and Klipsch is a work of art as long as it is well calibrated and adjusted, what I recommend the HDTV 500%, you will not regret it, it is a tremendous product. ... show more

  • Sony
Size: 65 inches Style: TV Only Set: XR Full Array
This is an extremely good television. We have had it for over a year now and we are very pleased with it. They unpacked it and verified it was not damaged, which is important. We ordered an LG and it arrived shattered. Sony is the best way to go. It was easy to setup and we like the remote. Crisp resolution and contrast. The only thing I don't like is the volume feature for keeping the volume at the same level no matter what program, commercial or music doesn't seem to work. ... show more

  • No regrets
T.V. has exceptional picture. I can see smile lines and pores in faces. It's good to know that Hollywood actors aren't made of porcelain after all. Colors are vivid. Lighting in screen is consistent across entire surface. Viewing is better without room lighting directly hitting screen, but I don't blame Sony for that. The only thing I don't like is how the smart chip blurs the background in facial close-ups. I've found it tolerable because those shots tend to be brief, and the detail is restored once the scene pans out just a little bit. My husband and I have found that we're choosing shows based on background a lot now. Winter in Ohio is less bleak with a 75 inch TV blasting out light and color. Our last TV was a Sony Bravia also. It's around 10 years old, 55 inch. Still has great picture but several of the hdmi ports failed. We have never invested a lot of money in television equipment. I could have bought a really nice TV for half the cost of this one, but if it would show flaws within 3 years, we are the type of people who would just live with it for 7 more years and go outside more. I really liked the pictures on the Samsung sets, but I didn't feel good about the amount of structural support you can get in those super thin TVs with massive screens. The remote is smarter than I am at this point. It's intuitive enough. We just haven't figured out how to go directly back to watching shows we like without navigating through the apps and all the other shows out there. I really enjoy this TV, and haven't experienced any buyer's remorse thus far....knock on wood! ... show more
