[UPDATE] Bought another one for the A6500 and it fits perfectly. It doesn't seem to diminish the touch screen in any way but I do wonder if the material will hold up to being used as a touch screen. So far so good. Added more photos. [Original Review] Gives a little piece of mind for the LCD on your A6000/A6300. It is well made and perfectly cut for the A6300. It goes on very easily and is easy to remove and realign should you need to adjust it. Even though the A6300 doesn't have a touch screen it feels good and doesn't make reading the screen more difficult. Once it is on good, it shouldn't come off unless you want to take it off and it looks like you don't have a screen protector on it at all. I almost reduced the star rating because the price at roughly $15 is maybe a little steep for what you get but considering it does its job, goes on easy, and looks good I think it is still a 5 star product and can easily recommend it for the A6300. ... show more

Works perfectly with my Sony a6000 camera. Fits well and it's a hard cover, not the thin flexible type you typically see. The thick, sturdy cover not only protects well but it makes installation easier. I recently discovered a big gash in the cover and was afraid it went through to the screen but once I pulled it off, the screen below was perfectly safe and unharmed. It is so perfect that I put on my camera once and didn't remember that it was there until I saw this review request pop up. It has not affected the touch screen in one way nor is it something that you ever noticed because it fits the camera so perfectly I have it on a Sony a6400

What is better, the glass kind or this hard plastic one? It will take a hit to the screen to find out, so I hope not to ever know. It does attach easily and will come off and re-adhere if you need to reposition it. I doubt it can be broken, but if the screen takes a big hit, the screen will break anyway. I used it on a Nex7. Had to put it on upside down, with the "SONY" at the top. I just tell people it is for overhead use... It does not reduce glare. You would think a Sony product would attend to the problem of seeing the screen if there is any sunlight. It is also pretty expensive. For these reasons I took off a star. ... show more

First I have to say I have been using these semi hard Sony screen protectors for years. The first thing I do when I get my Sony camera. It’s semi hard and only has adhesive around the edges so it can be removed at any time and reapplied if needed. Since the adhesive is only on the edges no worries about getting small air bubbles. Also this screen protector works perfectly on the a6400 and the touch screen functions still work perfectly. I also used this on the protector on the a6300 and a6500 will no issues. ... show more

I was a little bit skeptical since I normally use thin tempered glass on my devices that have screens. This one is thicker, stiffer, cost more than most tempered glass screen protectors for the a6000. This particular camera, however, does not have a touchscreen—thickness is not an issue—so I figured I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did! It went on easier than any other protector ever did for me. No bubbles, no need to "squeegee" it down with a credit card-like thingie. And it was easy to lift up again when I first laid it down a bit crooked. It has a very smooth, quality appearance. I just got my a6000 yesterday and this was the 2nd thing I did to the camera, right after putting the UV filter on. It was super easy, the thing that took longest was getting the packaging open. You just peel off the back side, align it with the top left corner of the screen and lay it across the screen. Do not bend it, it's pretty rigid, but it goes on very easily. Once on peel off the top plastic coating and you're done. The screen is very clear and you don't even notice that it's there.
