I am sorry I don’t have any videos or pictures to show, but I honestly didn’t buy it for any of those reasons. Sure it was a high priority, but the main priority was that I had some Blu Ray’s bought outside of my zone and I couldn’t enjoy them. Sadly, so I needed to buy a player that could show them. But that said, the player works like a charm. Speedy delivery and all in all, a wonderful experience. Today as well as the future, I'm going to buy a couple of DVD/BluRay sets that won't play on U.S. machines. I had bought a region free DVD player a couple of years ago and it plays the British sitcom I bought to watch it. Also U.S. DVDs and ones i have burned myself. Bought a different brand BD region free earlier and returned it as it wouldn't play anything but U.S. DVD's. Paid a bit more but so far it works with U.S and British regions.. so I'm going to buy a Non-U.S. BD set and I'm expecting ill be able to watch that. Region on the player is changed by pushing the color button which matches the region the disk is from. I printed out a global map of all the continents with the different region colors and put it with my instructions. U.S. is red, England is Green, etc. I had my U,S.Sony BD player set up as I use it frequenyly, and I set up this region free Sony for testing near to my U.S. player. Remote for the new region free BD Sony turned on/off and opened/closed my U.S. Sony player so I'll just not have them close together when I'm watching something on one or the other. I was confused for a few minutes though! Two disk trays opening and closing in unison was unexpected. I'm very happy right now but when I get the new DVD set will be the final test. ... show more

I have been seeking this disc player for years! It is the answer for ALL of my various disc formats. The only DVDs I play on another player are the older ones formatted for CRT TVs.

    • If I could I would give it 4.5
I love films from all over the world (ask my film students the whole world gets taught plus I my personal collection includes VCD music videos or PAL formatted movies from France, China and Israel), from different "video regions" and yet as an artist I also believe video piracy is a crime (when I was in China back in 2006 Mission Impossible III came out and when I went to the theater to watch it you could already buy the DVD of it right outside of the theater for the price of admission). I specifically searched for a non-record all-region player as I didn't want to support a machine made to pirate other people's hard work. I found the manual and the remote easy to use together (much easier than a smart television I have it hooked up to, the smart tv makes me look dumb). The diagram of the remote along with simple to understand instructions work really well together. It is easy to flip between all-region to a specific region setting for a disc that is set for PAL televisions. I don't know if it is just Region 3 where the picture quality doesn't look great, not horrible, but not as rich as I like. The remote is fine to use once you start using it with the manual, but it is definitely one you need the manual for as it is a little different from my other Sony remotes (I try to keep all the remotes the same company so if batteries run down I can temporarily use a different remote). Like I said I would give this player and remote a 4.5 out of 5 stars if possible. ... show more
