This model does NOT have an A-B Repeat function (it didn’t claim to) so be aware if you want that feature. (A-B repeat does endless looping if you want to hear something repeated endlessly until stopped. Overall I am happy with it. It can be a little confusing to figure the different settings but the basic start recording, stop recording, delete audio is easy to figure out. I think it would be beneficial if the recorder did have some way to export the audio rather than use other recording equipment (which I have), to export. ... show more

I bought this in December and have used it for about 1.5 - 2 months, and I'm not impressed. I should have tried to return it sooner, but I was trying to give it a fair shake. Bad choice because now it's too late to return. Pros: 1) Sound quality is pretty good. About as good as any voice recorder I've used so no complaint there. 2) Affordable. Cons: 1) This thing EATS BATTERIES. I can put two brand new batteries in and even without using it, by the end of the week they're dead. If you actually use, you won't even make a week with it. I've tried single use and rechargeable both with the same outcome. If you own stock in a battery company this may not bug you, but battery life with this record is terrible. 2) After only 2 months the screen appears to be dying. I've never dropped it, and never gotten it wet. In the attached photos you can see where the bottom of the upper text, and top of the lower text fade out. This makes me think the center of the screen is failing. Unacceptable for 2 months old. 3) The buttons aren't the easiest to work without looking at it. The record button is large and easy to find. The stop button is another story. It's placed between the forward and reverse buttons with no distinct edge or texture/contour. I work outside and if I'm wearing gloves when it's cold, forget about hitting the stop button. At the end of the day It's cheap, but you apparently get what you pay for. I figured it was made by Sony so I figured it would be okay. My last recorder (Olympus VN7100) finally started to falter after years of use. I was going to buy another Olympus recorder but they're 3 times the price. Maybe I should have paid the $100 because buying 3 of these would apparently only make it a year at best (plus the cost of all those batteries). Very disappointed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it does have decent sound. I really wish I had returned it right away instead of trying to give a chance to win me over. ... show more

It was fine, except I thought it would be voice operated recorder. It records continuously. Otherwise the sound quality is ok, very easy to use, battery life is top notch.

I bought these to tape record routes for work we have approximately 45 customers per day and I was recording the directions folder A would be my Monday route folder B would be my Tuesday route etc. but when I listen to the tape and go back to rewind it a short distance To make sure the directions were correct or if another driver was using it.It rewinds itself back to the beginning each time How do I fix this.
