  • AWESOME LEARNING EXPERIENCE WITH BLONWINER ROBOT CAR KIT!
Color: Black
I recently got the BLONWINER Robot Car Kit and it's been a blast to play with! The best part is you can build either a robot car or a smart robotics arm with this kit. 🤖 The Raspberry Pi and Python coding make it perfect for STEM programming. The kit also comes with a camera for added fun and learning opportunities. The performance of the robot car kit is impressive. It moves smoothly and responds well to commands, making it great for beginners and experienced users alike. The versatility of being able to switch between a car and a robotics arm adds an exciting dimension to the play and learning experience. In terms of value for money, this kit is a steal! Considering the quality of the components, the educational value, and the entertainment it provides, it's definitely worth the investment. Whether you're a hobbyist or a student looking to learn coding and robotics, the BLONWINER Robot Car Kit is a fantastic choice. ... show more

  • Worst SBC bot I've come across thus far.
Color: Black
First of all the design is just bad to begin with. Compound that with instructions that overcomplicate things. Wiring the boards first then mounting them to the frame parts means you're tethered in a mess of spaghetti the entire time. Certainly there are "SOME" steps where this is required, however there are many more where it would be easier to do it the other way around. The hardware is garbage. I had brass standoffs break and needing replacement. There's gaps between the standoffs and the boards because the externally threaded portion of the standoff's is too long, or the internally threaded portion is too shallow. The acrylic cuts for the 1.4mm self tapping screws were too big for the screws to bit anything half the time. There's no indication which side of the acrylic components is the "top" of the laser cut side (important because the kerf of the laser cut is wider at the top of the cut) and even using the bottom side these screws didn't bite regularly. The steering servo in what appears to be a cheap drug store RC car chassis doesn't function well enough to turn the bot. The controller only supports basic steering, accelerate and brake and does NOT control the arm. You have to unplug the drive motors and plug them into a different board to switch from the webUI control to the handheld control. There are 3 power switches that must be turned on in a specific sequence. ... show more

  • Assembly nightmare
Color: Black
Structural parts specifically the arms are acrylic. The sheets are thick but they still break easy. Very involved assembly process. Do not buy this for a kid. I ended up breaking a couple of pieces during assembly so I scrapped the thing. I can use parts, but the main function is of no use. Not easy to assemble, Not for kids. Fair value for the money. Quality is mediocre, Would be nice if the servos assembly was aluminum. ... show more

  • Neat little robot
Color: Black
This product is a little hard to put together, but in the long run if you can get it put together it seems to be an awesome product I would recommend this to all of my friends. I really enjoy the detail they put into this to make everything work and fit together.

  • Hard to put together
Color: Black
The assembly instructions require telekinesis to follow. One of the copper standoffs broke off while I was trying to screw it in, and while trying to get it back out, it got stuck inside the wrench that came with the kit. I’ve been trying to put this thing together for days, I just wanna play with the robot, man. I’d really suggest that the manufacturer remakes the chassis assembly instructions with gravity in mind. Like the first step should probably be screwing the extensions into the bottom piece (Acrylic Sheet A.03), putting the wires through the hole of it, and screwing it on. Then maybe work on assembling the Pi on top of that, getting everything plugged into the RPI board, then maybe the Acrylic sheet A.04 stuff? Idk if something should happen before or between all that, I’ve only gotten to page 26 and am getting frustrated because there was finally no psychically floating pieces and now it’s telling me to hover lights above the camera module and I’m like dude… why… I stared at it for I don’t know how long before realizing that it wasn’t telling me to plug the RGBs into the camera. I’m tired, man. ... show more

  • Great buildable kit
Color: Black
Works and runs as advertised. The instructions for this kit were very good, and it was just hard enough to make it worthwhile. The Remote control function works as it should. Price wise worth it for sure. Will definitely get one for friend upcoming birthday.
