Unit is easy to use, feels of decent quality. Didn't put it through it's paces, but did a brief statement to see how well it picks up and plays. Sensitive, and plays loud and crisp. Having a 32 gig on board card means no use for addictional cards which this unit doesn't provide, but really doesn't need it as you can download mp3s directly from the PC, and use headphones to listen which by the way sounds like any expensive sound equipment through the phones. This digital recorder is great! It arrived before the initial delivery date that was given to me. It's small, extremely light, and easy to use. I'm currently working on completing my Masters degree and I keep it handy for classes on zoom to help me refer back to information for exams and assignments. I would suggest that anyone who needs a digital voice recorder to grab this one. The sound quality is great and it's easy to upload the recordings onto a laptop. My only complaint is that you need to really keep an eye on the battery. I learned the hard way that the battery doesn't seem to last as long as advertised.     • Perfect for a class lectures
I am a nursing student, and in order to keep up with my notes in class, I purchased this recorder, which was what I needed to get the job done. However, I still am unable to transfer the data onto the computer with my MacBook Air and for this, I am only giving it 4 out of 5 stars. I only wanted to save it onto the computer to share the recorded data to other classmates, but I could do away with it. The recorder picks up a lot, especially if your phone is on the table. It can hear the vibration of your phone, if you’re eating a snack, and opening the wrapper and someone’s voice from 30-50 feet away (in the lecture hall) answering the professors questions.     • Great little recorder - for the short time it worked
I needed a recorder for my job, and this has really done the trick. So far, the recording quality has been very good, and it's been easy to use. It's small and lightweight and very easy to slide into my pocket or purse when I need to take it with me somewhere. I did panic a little one time when I was turning it off and the button fell off, but I was able to slide it right back on and it works just as well as it always did (and now I'm more careful about using that switch so it doesn't happen again). UPDATE: I ordered the recorder in January. It's now June. I plugged it into charge for an interview least week, and when I pulled it off the charger the next morning, it wouldn't turn on. It still works if plugged directly in, but the battery won't hold a charge at all and won't turn on if it's not plugged into a power source. ... show more

    • Didn't meet my needs
I was looking for a simple to use voice recorder for my 10 year old grandson who is a story teller but hates to hand write anything. I told him if he recorded I would transcribe. I ordered this because the description made it sound like it was simple to use. It wasn't. I just wanted a recorder that He could press one button to record, another to stop, and then a rewind. Those functions are possible with this recorder but I had a horrible time figuring how how, and there were so many other functions involving different combinations of button pressing.
