This is the second purchase of this Sony blueray player from this vendor. Very pleased with delivery time and the player. No doubt that these are refurbished units due to the condition of the box. Missing batteries on second purchase (no biggie). Would definitely buy again.

My Samsung blueray quit working, the one in my mancave. I don't have cable or wifi available, but can download movies on pad and run off the smart tv. But I still have discs and still purchase them once and a while. While browsing for a new inexpensive player, I noticed they offered refurbished ones, and for a very reasonable price, so I took a chance. I was surprised when it arrived, it was about the size of a car radio, worked on 12V. Came with an HDI cable which was too short for me, but I could use the old one, NP.     • Works and Looks Perfect - Not!
After struggling with 2 Samsung DVD and BluRay players that both stopped working after very little use, I was happy to find this Sony that was renewed. It looks and plays perfectly. The picture for whatever reason actually looks better than a LG DVD player I have playing a standard DVD. I am never buying another Samsung DVD or BluRay player again. I have an LG and now this Sony that work. EDIT: After two weeks this unit quit working. It was always on, the on/off button would not respond and the load would not open.
