Got this TV delivered and it set it up. Picture was fantastic until I had it on for maybe 30 mins and then all the sudden it was like closing a curtain...the picture slowly dissolved until there was nothing left and that's the way it remained. Tried to reset it, unplugged it. Turned it back on and the screen came on but there was no picture. Must have gotten one defective unit in 300,000. Great! Amazon will credit my purchase and pick it up. Will have to reorder another from another reseller as they are currently out of stock. ***UPDATE*** Well the TV seems to be working fine for now in the time I was set up for a return on it. I am going to cancel the return and if I have further issues with I will contact Sony. The picture is fantastic and the size is great! ... show more

TV arrived with broken screen. There's a protective cardboard attached to screen and Sony suggest to keep it on screen until TV is installed. So we did and everything looked normal until we turned TV on. The TV was shipped by air over large distance, but its package looked intact AND there is no sign of any damage to polystyrene foam that held damaged part of a screen. The screen shows several cracks originating from one location AND a pattern of many small round indentations like something small was pressed into the screen with force. I know that I probably won't be able to prove it, but to me it looks like it was damaged on factory and packaged & shipped nevertheless because packaging was not damaged and there's nothing present in it that could be the source of localized small indentation damage to screen. Protective film on lower (damaged) part of a screen appear to be glued inaccurately and there's a few small particles between it and screen visible under glued part. Since I used a freight forwarder, so I won't be able to get any refund nor for TV itself nor for my shipping / tax costs (860$). I had great experience with Sony before, so I took the risk and I'm going to pay for it. But please beware and check your TV before accepting it, even if package looks perfectly fine. Because of the way it's packaged this means completing TV installation and turning it on - only then you can be sure that screen is OK. ... show more

This tv is Amazing. I own an LG C series Oled and this tv is better in my opinion. I see no blooming at all and the picture get much much brighter. Never thought a mini led would produce results at this level. Very happy with this tv. Highly Recomend!!

Our trusty old Sharp Elite TV finally died after ten years. This was its replacement, so it had to live up to the quality of the Elite. It has. This TV is bright! We have three large windows where the TV is and the picture is equally bright and easy to see. The blacks are as deep as they can be; better than the old plasma screens. The viewing angle is unbelievably wide. You can stand almost next to it at an angle and still be able to see a clear picture. No bad seats for movie watching. I am home all day and keep the TV on for background noise mostly. This is why we chose a mini LED over an OLED or QLED - no burn in on a mini LED. ALL OLEDS have burn in at some point, especially if left on 8-12 hours a day as we use TVs. So, if you are like me and keep the TV on all day, THIS is a great TV for you. Also, we love to watch movies and this is great for watching 4k movies. It even makes old movies look better. My only reason for deducting a star is there is a weird rainbow effect when we watch really dark movies (horror/scifi, etc) in a dark room with a source of light behind us. It is caused by the anti-reflective screen. I have motion night lights and if one turns on, we see a rainbow strip across the screen. It's annoying, but not a deal breaker; you just learn to leave the lights off that reflect in the TV. I love this television and highly recommend one. And 75" is NOT too big! I would have purchased the next size up, but my husband (yes, that's right) actually thought it would be TOO big for the stand that holds it. Tip: It's heavy. Around 100lbs. We are a couple in our 50's and we lifted it up on to a TV stand ourselves, but it wasn't easy. ... show more

I'm not a technophobe but I've had a number of large flat screen tv's in the last 20 years from plasmas to rear's to OLED's of a variety of manufacturers. I was looking for specific features to address shortcomings of those older models. One was it had to be a bright screen. Two it had to have good anti-reflective screen behavior. No dimming, no to little bluming (halo effect around white text) and vibrant colors. Many other features of a smart tv. I'm very happy to have purchased this one.
