These are decent quality and price! Even though they are plastic, this is my second set and I have not had any issues with their durability! They haven't cracked or split...surprisingly durable and stable. They protect your shoes from dust very well. The doors do have a catch on them so they do stay closed. I can fit more than one pair of slippers into one box...my ankle boots fit nicely too...so they are pretty roomy. Just make sure you have some place to put them cuz they are just like shoe boxes...they take up space...I have mine on the shelf of my closet, above where my clothes hang, and I can fit them four high with stacking. They assemble kinda tricky but easily enough. Highly recommend! ... show more

So I'm no sneaker head - I'm actually a crafter. I enjoy both knit and crochet. Which means I have a yarn stash. I had a place to store it, but recently I out grew it, and I wasn't totally happy with it anyway because it wasn't very easy to access nor see what I actually had easily. I needed something clear that I could see what I had easily, while also being sturdy. These looked like the perfect solution! They arrived super fast with prime shipping. Honestly, I haven't had anything ship so quickly since before the pandemic. So yay! Unfortunately, I was almost instantly disappointed by the materials.... But that was MY mistake. They are lightweight and seemed flemsy, but the more I put the boxes together, the sturdier I realized they were. So awesome! Sadly, the main thing I need was a way to keep my yarn clean from dust and cat hair, and I didn't notice the huge holes in the back. That's a pretty big disappointment for my needs, and that's why my review is four stars. But let's be honest, that's really more on me than on the boxes. Truth be told, as I started transferring my stash, I liked this set up so much, I really think I may buy another set in a couple of months to help store some of my tools and accessories so that everything is together and, of course, for future yarn purchases. 😉 Overall, this is a pretty great buy. They did take some time to assemble, but we're easy enough to get together. I had a little trouble with the first one, but I found a video for a visual and after that got everything together pretty fast. These are perfect for my shoes. I wear size 6 so I can fit 2 or more pairs in each box. It even fits in my closet nicely. (I like them so much I ordered more) They are a little challenging putting them together. It did take some time. I did it while watching TV. Also put one together backwards, I had to correct it. I opened the box and thought I was going to have to write a bad review. BUT I started putting them together and they are very sturdy. Follow the directions and they go together quickly. Perfect size for tennis shoes and sandals. Boots will fit laid on side. The brown color is nice. I just got this product in yesterday and I made a mistake in not inspecting the parts before assembling them because I was so excited to finally get my son’s shoes organized. As I began to build them, I noticed one of the front lids had a defect and was cracked in the corner. I continue because well hey it’s just one and it’s just a crack. As I continue, there was another. At this point I did stop assembly to check the others and there indeed was multiple that had cracks in the same exact areas. Also, the instructions are super user friendly, but the assembly itself was a bit frustrating as it was a little challenging to get the plastic pieces to snap into the tab slots. Overall, the product seems great but I am a bit disappointed with the defects. ... show more
